Dr. Liwen Zhu, DO

Great doctor with sound clinical judgement. She's not the kind of doctor that dismisses your concerns. She provides the full workup and sends you to specialists or imaging to make sure you're 99% good to go. Biggest con is that she accepts walk-ins so the office can be pretty busy, but appointments always have priority, so it has never been a problem for me. I guess it's nice that you don't need to wait the whole two weeks for an appointment to see a doctor like other offices, but it causes a slight delay sometimes. I've seen her finishing her walk in patients two hours after closing- if that's not a doctor who cares, I don't know what it is No CDL for driving, but not every doctor has that.

She is awesome and always takes good care of me. She suggests dietary changes and makes sure my overall health is taken into account. It’s a cash-only Office which is annoying but I won’t knock her down a star. Sometimes the wait can be 30 mins but I know that she will be thorough when it comes to my turn.

Overall is ok. Better to make an appointment first otherwise might wait 2 hours as there are always a few people waiting for the doctor. Provide the paper report and also can create an online account to track digital reports from lab too. -1 star because of cash only.

Avoid. Terrible bed side manners. Forgets the tests she orders, short staffed. Cares more about charging the insurance than patient care. Long wait times even with appointments. She refuses to provided documentation for work such as a doctors note or fill out FMLA docs. This has been my primary care doctor for too long. She is a doctor with osteopathic knowledge yet, sent me to see other doctors to address my medical needs.The other doctor who she referred me to said, my case was something she could of taken care of herself.

DO NOT COME HERE. Long wait time and you’re never granted your scheduled appointment. My yearly physical is always covered and upon confirming with my insurance, they said the same. I gave the office a call and Dr.Zhu didn’t even pull up my file to check if she put the wrong billing code and just assumed that I was in the wrong and that my insurance doesn’t cover for the yearly physical. So UNPROFESSIONAL and wouldn’t recommend anyone coming here!
