Having moved to NY recently and having to establish medical/dental care has been a project. Finding Dr. Lam, both father and daughter was excellent. Receiving professional dental care for reasonable fees shouldn’t be such a surprise, but given I paid over double previously this was a big win! Thank you! Thank you Dr. J 😀

Both Dr Lams are great. Been coming here for dental work for over two decades. Had fillings done, root canals, crowns, cleanings, you name it, it was done expertly and never had problems. The best dentists in NYC especially if you’re uninsured. Highly recommend

I dont want to give them recommendations because after that it will be a big lines but i must say! They are the best! Super professionals, super nice and thoughtful, i did there 4 fillings and on 3 of them i didint felt a thing and everything went smoothly, its close to china town so give yourself a treat while you are there, i got in exactly on time to my appointment, they give great instructions for beffore, while, and after the treatment, they really took goid care of me, and even great music, they accept insurances, but even uf you dont have the prices are 150 to 250 depending what you have so its not that bad compared other things i saw, they will be the first ones i will go to what ever and when ever i need teeth treatment but thanks to them i will not need that many! Highly recommend!!!

i booked an appointment for my partner after he maxed out his dental coverage for the year after several bad experiences with tend dental. i read on reddit that this practice is super affordable when you’re paying for services 100% out-of-pocket. it took a couple times of calling to get through to a person, but it wasn’t a big deal - just required follow up. from the old photos here on google, i was expecting a no frills office but was pleasantly surprised by a nicely remodeled practice! the front desk staff also spoke cantonese, so it is a great choice for the local community who might not speak english. it seems like the practice is made up of two dr. lams, i’m guessing a father and a daughter, but could be wrong. my partner went in for a consultation on a rejected cavity placed by tend dental which tend advised a root canal was needed. the younger dr. lam was able to advise that only a cavity was needed, took 50 minutes from consultation to complete filling, and only charged $120!!! highly recommend for anybody stuck in a bind or just want good honest dentists.

This was one of the worst dental experiences I've ever had. I went in for a root canal and the dentist was rude, incredibly rough, didn't numb me enough, and kept drilling when I expressed pain. She also didn't finish the procedure and left me with a half done root canal with a huge filling on top that pressed down directly into my nerve. I've never experienced such pain before. I had to immediately go to another dentist for them to take out the filling, finish the root canal, and give me a proper filling. The new dentist office was shocked at what they were looking at and asked me if I had gone to an actual licensed dentist to get that done. I've had a root canal before from another dentist with absolutely no issues, so I am incredibly shocked by how awful and cruel this dentist was. The office is also cash/zelle only which wasn't advertised beforehand. I would never recommend that anyone go here.
