Thank you Dr Shi Old review 5 stars: I have been Dr Shi patient since 2018. First impression was very good -the receptionist, the nurse, the doctor. I showed up in the office with no appointment. The blood test and check up took me less than 30 min on Saturday afternoon. Very kind and very professional service. I was happy to be there.

She’s the best doctor someone can ask for. I’ve been her patient for years at this point. She truly cares for her patients, always kind and smiling. She also got good knowledge, her bedside manner is excellent. The front desk ladies always helpful and almost there’s never any waiting. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Shi was my doctor since I was 18 years old. Unfortunately I moved to Queens and it’s difficult for me to get out to Chinatown. She was always patient, thorough, and knowledgeable. Her staff is sweet. The most I waited was 1/2 hr over my appointment time but I find that common for many doctors. What I love about her the most is she’s not one of those pill doctors. Don’t expect to get a drug just because you want it. She will make sure you really need it before prescribing it. I love that about her- her ethics are top notch. I once asked her about getting Vicodin or percs for a shoulder pain and she said no and a strong dosage of Motrin was all I need. She refused to put me on a bunch of addictive drugs - fearing I would become another statistic in the drug epidemic in this country. I’ve seen her dodge pharmaceutical salesmen as well and have turned down samples too. It’s impossible for me to find a reliable doctor now. I might just have to bite the bullet and take 2 hrs on the bus and train just to go see her. If you want a doctor to give you a bunch of meds without any examination, she’s not the one for you. However, if you’re looking for a patient, caring doctor who will put your health at top priority then Dr. She is the one to go to!

Dr Shi is the only doctor I ever recommended! She is kind and very understanding. I feel very comfortable rolling to her. She will not give you medication unless we try everything before you really do not to be on it. She checks in and will call right away if needed. My whole family goes to her! Highly recommend

Came here looking for a new PCP. The front desk was very lovely and professional. Clean office. Now Dr. Shi, I will not be going back. I was there for an annual and wanted to do bloodwork on a few other things, including a genetic test. She immediately told me they don’t do bloodwork for that and denied me getting a genetic test when it’s just a simple check off of the paper for the lab to run with my bloodwork. She was high strung from the moment she walked in. She barely took her eyes off the computer the entire time we were talking. Everything I said, she talked over me. As a new patient, I would expect her to introduce herself get a little background about me. Didn’t ask anything, other than, how are you sleeping? She was just annoyed that I was asking for additional markers to check for my bloodwork. Really rude, really rushed, And barely gave me the time of day. I asked her about wanting to do certain test because I wanted to get to the bottom of XYZ symptoms and she just kept getting annoyed and saying no that’s not the answer. It is what it is. Just really rude it would not recommend I am not going back. She was so nasty and I was so disappointed. No bedside manner. I even called out. I’ll wait till you’re done off of the computer so that we can talk face-to-face because she was like oh yeah it seems like we’re keeping crossing over each other. She just kept talking over me not hearing me out didn’t give me the time of day. I don’t know. I just really insensitive do not recommend going at all. Wow so disappointing.
