Dr. Ying Chan is very knowledgeable and professional. She took her time to care for me and my baby. If you have concerns about your pregnancy she would take her time and explain your concerns, with Dr. Ying Chan expertise I was able to give birth to a healthy baby. The staff at Dr. Ying Chan’s office is very nice and friendly. The office itself is very clean. I would recommend coming to Dr. Ying Chan for your ultrasounds.

I can’t recommend my maternal fetal medicine doctor enough! From the very start of my high-risk pregnancy with my monochorionic diamniotic (MoDi) twins, they were incredibly professional and thorough. I never felt rushed during my appointments, and they always took the time to explain everything in detail, including the potential risks associated with MoDi pregnancies, which really helped me understand what to expect. One thing that stood out was how much time they spent during each ultrasound, checking on my twins and making sure everything was okay—this gave me much-needed reassurance. I always felt comfortable asking questions and knew I could trust their expertise. Thanks to their careful monitoring, my twins were delivered perfectly healthy at 36 weeks, right on schedule, and with very similar birth weights. The communication was excellent, and I genuinely felt supported throughout the entire journey. I’m so grateful for the care I received and would give them a 5 out of 5 without hesitation!

My wife had an ultrasound at 37 weeks at this office and was told my baby weighed approximately 7.5 lbs. At her 39-week appointment, my wife expressed concerns about the baby’s size and the possibility of needing a cesarean if the baby was too large. The doctor dismissed her worries, refused to re-measure, and assured she could deliver naturally even if the baby reached 8 lbs. Unfortunately, after a failed 2-day induction at 39+5 weeks, my wife had to undergo an emergency C-section at 40 weeks. My baby’s actual weight was 9.3 lbs, it’s significantly larger than estimated. The office’s inaccurate ultrasound and refusal to reassess my baby’s size left my wife unprepared for the complications that followed. While I understand ultrasound estimates aren’t always perfect, the dismissive attitude and lack of follow-up were unprofessional. Other expectant mothers deserve thorough care and honest discussions about delivery risks. I hope the office improves their protocols to prevent similar situations.
