Dr. Yong R. Kim, MD

Dr. Kim is amazing extremely honest and knowledgeable doctor. I was so lucky to meet him through my insurance company. He really spends time with his patient even gives them personal advice on their well-being. He has a wonderful staff very thoughtful. I highly recommend Dr. Kim to anybody or everybody, he has been looking out for my family for years, even though I moved pretty far. I’ve always kept coming back to him due to his honesty and service for all of us. Thank you, Dr. Kim and your entire staff.

I had Dr. Kim for so many years and he is by far the best doctor EVER! His practice uses the Healow EMR platform and everything is at your mobile phone with the app. My experience with this doctor is beyond concierge level medical services as he really takes his time to examine you, shows real empathy and concern for all the patients. You gotta wait when you are in the clinic (who doesn't nowadays) but rest assured when you are there, you don't feel rushed and he will answer each and every question that you may have. He is an Asian American doctor AND he speaks fluent Spanish, (shame on me actually as I need to be more fluent in Spanish than him) But overall he is REALLY THE BEST!

Update: their front desk staff are more polite and better behaved now. Great customer service and helpful. Dr. Kim is an AMAZING doctor. He has been our family doctor for the past 10 years now. He is also very nice. However, I am giving this place one star because the receptionist (Hispanic one) is BEYOND RUDE. she NEVER listens to what you have to say no matter how politely you request. She is absolutely trash and has disgustingly low class behavior. In addition, the nurse and the other Asian staff/receptionist are very nice as well and listen to you. Dr. Kim should consider these reviews and maybe have a conversation with that staff.

My rating is based off of hospitality and professionalism over the phone. Dr’s office left me on hold for 2 mins and proceeded to not even introduce her self, provide her name, great me with a good morning nor state the office name. I am from another institute and I’m scared to fax over my pt information to a Dr’s office that has not professionalism. The front desk sets the tone for the office. That call wasn’t the best tone for that office.

Dr. Yong was my PCP for 4 years. I always struggle with his personality, but I was okay with him since he did the job done (when I was healthy and I needed a routine checkup). However, after a back injury I was in a lot of pain and unable to walk. I called him to get a referral to see a specialist. I already new the diagnosis since I went to an emergency room. He even didn't bother to talk to me, and insisted to see me in person. I talked to the office stuff and explaned that I can't see the dr. Yong in person because I can't walk. The assistant didn't want to connect me with the doctor, even though I told her I'm in a lot of pain. After I started yelling at her partially out of frustration, partially because of the pain, she connected me with the doctor. The doctor was insisting that he needs to see me personally. I said several times that I'm unable to walk and can't see him in my current condition. I said that I can send him all the paperwork and MRI test, but no... Such a simple request for a referral became an emotional torture. This Doctor lakes empathy and common sense. All he wants to do is to see you in person to give you your annual flu shots. I do not recommend seeing this doctor.
