Dynasty Weddings

Dynasty Weddings is amazing; from the initial booking process all through to the event day. Chris the owner and manager was super helpful with planning my daughter's Sweet 16. He helped me make mindful edits and suggestions as an unexpected injury almost sidelined the whole event. His team was so understanding at pivoting all throughout the day. There were so many last minute changes that took place. The team was such great sports about everything. They were super patient, very professional and helped me with every change up needed. All of my guests had a fabulous time with DJ Winston, spinning tunes and giving out light up sticks on the dance floor (that was a nice surprise). Winston was so easy to work with. He arranged our playlist perfectly. Ben, our photographer, was super! He helped us with staging, posing, checked for optimal angles and lighting. Did retakes on the spot if it wasn't perfect. I really appreciated that. All throughout the event, he was running around taking shots, double and triple checking my pre-set list of must have photos. He didn't miss a beat. During our event, I recall seeing him on the floor, behind the tables, by the back wall - I mean he was literally everywhere! I think he was more anxious than I, about the photos I said I wanted as he reminded me a few times that I didn't take a few shots that I wanted. LOL (No worries Ben, you did it, we got them all)! And kudos to our photo booth attendant, Jeffrey. A man of very few words but he was patient and took care of 70+ guests in 4 hours. He manned the photo booth solo and it ran smoothly. Between the multiple photo print outs for each person and those re-takes, it was a lot of work. (Some of us were caught off guard so outtakes and retakes were indeed a thing). The 40+ teens definitely had a great time using the photo booth and the cool props. All of the photos came out great. Choosing the photo layout and card design was actually the hard part - we took a bit to choose. Our guests really enjoyed the variety of props provided and they used plenty. The best part was the silver backdrop we chose for our photo booth -- it was classy and stylish. Loved it and it complimented our decor! I totally recommend Dynasty Weddings without reservation. Chris and his team made our wedding experience a blast! People loved the DJ, and they had so much fun at the photobooth!! People kept going back throughout the night to keep taking pics. Also the quality was stellar! Chris did a great job making sure we had time for all the events and kept everything on track and on pace. We couldn't have done our wedding without him. Thanks Chris and Dynasty Weddings!!!

Chris and Dynasty Entertaiment is the absolute best!!! They gave me the best wedding of my dreams. If you need great entertainment DJ/MC/Photobooth the whole nine yards you must choose Chris’s company. He will deliver 100% what you want him to deliver for your weddings or birthdays or any event.

Dynasty Wedding My real rating is 4.5 stars because of a few small mishaps, but overall I’d still round up to 5 stars. Communicating with Chris Chen from start to finish was easy. I also liked how we had two zoom calls before the actual wedding day; I imagine if your timeline needed more work, he’d be flexible with having more than that. The day of wedding was really great for the most part. There was a small mishap during our short impromptu Ceremony rehearsal. The DJ played the recessional song instead of the processional one. Well, at least that was during the rehearsal and not the actual ceremony! 😳 I would not have been happy. Also I think they had set up an elaborate mic stand for my Officiant for some reason. I told my cousin to make sure he moved it before we did our kiss (didnt want it in the pictures) but I think in the end my cousin just decided to do away with the stand all together and just held the mic. This was the right call on his part. There was another small hiccup before the real ceremony where the right music wasnt being played again, though I think that may have been because the DJ wasnt given the cue that we were actually starting. I dont know. But it’s ok, no one but me and the wedding party noticed I think. 😓 Otherwise, the ceremony ran very smoothly. I have no complaints for the music throughout the night. They played my prepared playlist and played all the right music for my grand entrance, first dance, cake cutting, grand re-entrance, and my various tosses (bouquet, cat plushie and dog plushie). My people arent really dancers, but what little guests did go on the dance floor danced their hearts out and had a great time. The MC they had for my day did a great job overall. I think most of my guests are not used to there being an MC for a wedding, let alone one who can fluently speak Cantonese and Mandarin. I was a little bit disappointed and miffed that she told me that she was more or less going to just do Mandarin and English though. I mean, I understand that doing three languages is hard on her and even the guests, but I feel like this should have been communicated more upfront before the event. Then at least I wouldnt have just said “yes” because I was tired of making on-the-fly decisions all day 😓😓😓. Oh well. And the MC did keep asking me about things in the timeline through the evening….I dont know if that’s normal or if maybe she just wanted some input in the whole thing? I dont know but I managed. As my husband said, maybe she was just offering suggestions? But sometimes it didnt feel like that to me, I felt pushed into not keeping true to my original plan. But I would say overall, I was happy with the MC. The MC kept my guests entertained and she did a good job keeping the event on schedule. We ran a bit behind on time but that’s to be expected really. No one but me, who remembered the schedule religiously at this point, knew lol. My husband’s family were very pleased with her work as well. Also, she was great at getting women to get on the dance floor for the bouquet toss, because for some reason everyone was super shy for that. 😂 I think by the time the cat plushie and dog plushie toss came around, the crowd was more into the idea and wholeheartedly participated. To summarize, Dynasty Wedding did a great job for my wedding and I definitely would recommend them. There were just a few minor things that happened here and there. But that’s the nature of weddings I suppose. Learn to let some of the minor things go and just roll with the punches.

There's really not much I can put into words other than you'll have to contact Dynasty Weddings and get the amazing experience for yourself. Chris and his team are second to none and you will absolutely regret not choosing them for any of your major milestone events. Highly recommend!!!
