East Village Farm & Grocery

This store is the worst grocery store in new york city. They do not have any items and gave me the worst customer service experience. They are scamming people on Grubhub claiming that they have items but they do NOT and wasting my time. BEWARE FIVE STAR GROCERY on grubhub is the same location as East Village Farm even though it claims to be on different addresses. Don't waste your time here.

I had a seamless order for TOILET PAPER. I placed the order at 10 pm it hit 12 am no call no order nothing. I call them at first the man says my order was delivered then I hear him speaking with someone else and tells me the order is on the way. It’s 2 am now. They are closed still no order. This is the second time I’ve had this issue with this deli. I’m gonna call in the morning and see what they even say. It’s a shame you can’t support businesses in your neighborhood. Super rude as well. Don’t even trust it they deliver their own orders.

I had a disappointing experience with one of the male florists. He came across as rude and seemed upset the entire time. Customer service is very important in this type of business, and unfortunately, I did not feel welcomed or respected. If someone is unhappy in their role, it might be better for them to reconsider whether this job is the right fit.

Placed an order for flowers through Uber Eats. 2 hours after delivery time the store answered the phone and said it's on it's way and then hung up without asking which order you were referring to. I called back and you can hear the phone ringing and other people in the background saying the same thing to other people on the phone. The delivery driver (Third Party) informed me that the order was never ready and they told him to wait. They are very rude and unprofessional. Don't take the risk to order from here or do business with them. I wish I read the other comments before placing an order with them.

1 Star - AVOID AT ALL COSTS Absolutely DO NOT order from here. This place is a complete disaster. They don’t even begin delivery until you call them. The estimated delivery time is a complete lie. When my order was way past the promised time with zero movement, I called to ask what was going on and they HUNG UP on me. No explanation, just click. I had to call back multiple times just to get any information. The rudeness and complete lack of customer service was shocking. They act like YOU’RE the problem for expecting them to actually deliver what you ordered. After dealing with their attitude and watching the time continue to drag on, I just canceled the entire order. Save yourself the aggravation. There are dozens of other pharmacies and groceries on Uber Eats where you won’t be treated like garbage. This place is only worth considering if you enjoy being hung up on and disrespected. You’ve been warned - order literally anywhere else.
