Irina is the best—so glad I found this place! I’ve been to many different salons across the city, and feel like this is the first time that I’ve gotten exactly what I’ve wanted. She is very experienced, and really understands how to shape and style all types of hair textures. She’s also incredibly warm and personable. “Too perfect!” That’s exactly how my hair came out from a full-head highlight. Irina is a color genius, having done a color correction once, so that on my next session, the colors came out just brilliant. She also gives the best cut styles, face-framing layers that bring much volume and personality to my lifeless, limpy hair. In addition to her exceptional skills, she is a kind, sweet and fun person. I always walk out of her lovely, cozy studio feeling like a new person.

Magic Sleek hair straightener one of the best decisions ever and Irina does a phenomenal job! I’m actually sitting in her chair again right now, for a touch up! It’s permanent, no fuss, no frizz, shines everyday. My hair was super curly and a blowout would take 45 minutes, now it takes less than 5 minutes for me to blow dry my hair after a shower! When your regular hair grows out you do need the roots done again, seen here. I’ve been doing straightening for a little over 3 years now, first I did Japanese straightening but to be honest it’s more chemicals, takes longer and so bone straight. Magic Sleek is faster (still about 3 hours but Japanese was 6!) but makes it keratin smooth, shiny and has more volume than just the Japanese straightener. Irina is relaxed, warm and very nice Private space, easy off the train. Highly recommend!
