Going to EMath very strongly strengthened my skills in english and math by providing effective packets and teaching. The work is hard but easy to understand once the teacher explains it.

EMath effectively arranges students according to their level of both english and math subjects. As the students get higher grades, the work they receive also gains in difficulty which promotes improvement. The questions given to the students may seem difficult, but it’s a prep school, these questions are needed to encourage our kids to think and succeed not only in school but also on exams such as the SHSAT or SAT.

This school offers many programs such as English, math, Chinese, writing, AI and the teachers teach the topics well. The teachers are friendly and make sure that the environment is ready to learn. They prepare people for big tests such as the SHSAT and they have amazing results as shown on the walls. They offer both online and in person classes so if you can’t make it in person, you can still get amazing lessons online so I really recommend this place.

After going to EMath and recommending other of my friends to go as well, we have all seen a great improvement in our skills in not only english and math but also the way we think and process questions. Like many others, the work may be challenging at times but it keeps us motivated to try to understand the question and get it correct next time. Challenge leads to growth!

Personally went here myself after graduating the seventh grade, people from different grades are mixed together here, you get homework packets with questions that never show up on the SHSAT, because of the different grades, we learn stuff from different topics, graduated the seventh grade learning about the volumes of cylinders while they are teaching trigonometry and such without many valid explanations, as for ELA, sometimes the teacher would rather make stuff up on the spot. The place is also quite small and the desks barely even fit a piece of paper.
