Fat Puppies

Fat Puppies is hands down one of the best daycare and boarding places in Queens. The owners are so friendly and knowledgeable about dog behaviors that I know that when my dogs are there that they are well taken care of and being treated like family. They also offer pick up and drop off services and grooming which is convenient. They also throw cute events during the week for the dogs, host birthday parties with dog friendly cakes, cupcakes and pizza so the pictures are super cute. 10/10 would recommend

Fat Puppies is fantastic! My dogs absolutely love their visits to the Forest Hills location. J, the owner, is super friendly and generous. My wife went into labor and they went out of their way to board our dogs and accommodate changes throughout their stay, which gave us much needed piece of mind. I highly recommend Fat Puppies to all loving doggie parents!

Thank you so much to Jay and the Fat Puppies Inn team at Metropolitan! You all took great care of our rescue dog, tha ks for the peace of mind! I left my lab staff mix, large dog, Ace, here for boarding for 3 nights. Our rescue dog is on the larger side, 77 pounds, and and has a lot of energy. Finding a boarding that is right for him is very tough. We used Fat Puppies before in Sunnyside and Ace loved his time there and talking with Jay we got a great vibe. So naturally on our next vacation we were excited to see if they had availability during the long weekend. Not only were they able to book we were super excited to try the new Metropolitan Ave location! Each day we recieved photos and updates of Ace's time. We were offered FaceTimes and access to see everything going on whenever we liked/wanted to. The location has a nice store front with exotic treats and ice creams and cookies for the dogs. A large indoor play area and a large outdoor shaded back yard with sun spots for the dogs to sun bathe. They have a nice large downstairs area as well used for the dogs to sleep, eat or take a break from the pack. We added on a bath for his pick up day as we know when pets play theh can get a bit dirty. He came back smelling fresh and clean. His fur was very soft, and even his nails trimmed. I highly recommend Fat Puppies, they are great with Ace and all the dogs when we go for drop off/pick up are always so excited and playful. Thank you again for the peace of mind while on vacation knowing Ace was in good hands while we were away.

I take my dog to the location in sunnyside frequently and he can’t get enough. We were super excited to hear that they would open a new location on metropolitan avenue. The staff is great and attentive, and I love how they added an outside space with lots of room to play and sun bathe!! He loves this place 10/10 would highly recommend!!!

I can’t say enough good things about the care my Goldendoodle received at FatPuppies! My good boy was treated like family, he came home well-exercised, and relaxed. The little updates, pictures and videos during my time away were thoughtful and really put my mind at ease. Fat Puppies was highly recommended to us by a coworker.
