First Street Garden

I love this garden. Next time I head to this place, imma go get more zines/one pagers from the library there :)

Lovely pocket-size community garden maintained by volunteers. Magnificent collection of murals featuring women who changed the world. Secret tip: the garden has an outdoor zine library! Great place to see art, enjoy zines by artists, and escape the street hustle.

Open 20 hours week, First Street Garden has some interesting bamboo structures and some really great politically and socially charged wall art, along with and encouragement to vote. The actual garden is in the far back, but the shaded seating area seem like a lot of great conversations take place.
