the worst company ever , very rude management staff

Please believe every negative thing you have heard or read about this place. I did not want to believe it either. I have lived in this building for nearly three years, and the only reason I stayed as long as I did was because the rent was affordable at the time and the neighborhood felt convenient. In hindsight, that decision came at a real cost. The management company is deeply incompetent and consistently unresponsive. I have reported serious issues over and over again, documented them, followed up, and done everything a responsible tenant is supposed to do. Each time, I was ignored. It reached a point where it felt like I did not exist to them at all. There was no accountability, no urgency, and no care. The living conditions are unacceptable. The buildings are heavily infested with roaches and rats. This is not an exaggeration. You see roaches as soon as you walk into the lobby, crawling on the walls, around the mailboxes, and near packages. They travel freely through the hallways and come into apartments from under the doors. It is constant, not occasional, and it creates an environment that feels unsafe and unsanitary. On top of that, water shutoffs happen regularly, often weekly, and last for an entire day. These disruptions are labeled as “maintenance” and treated as normal, with little notice and no regard for how disruptive they are to daily life. You are expected to simply accept it. Living here has been exhausting and demoralizing. It has caused ongoing frustration, anger, and stress. Your home is supposed to be a place of peace, and this place slowly strips that away. You become uncomfortable in your own space and worn down by having to constantly advocate for basic living conditions. I am sharing this because I do not want anyone else to walk into this situation unprepared. Please use discernment and take this as a real warning. You deserve safe housing, responsive management, and a clean environment. This place does not provide that, and I wish I had listened sooner.

After nearly two years at 191 73rd St, I feel compelled to warn potential tenants about the management's inaction. The resident in apartment 237 has repeatedly engaged in loud, aggressive harassment, including the use of racial slurs directed at me. This has created an intimidating and unpleasant atmosphere in my own home. Despite multiple reports to management, no corrective action has been taken to resolve this ongoing issue. The failure to provide a safe and respectful living environment is a significant breach of their responsibilities. I would not recommend this building to anyone, particularly minorities, until management demonstrates a commitment to addressing tenant concerns and enforcing community standards.

Expect your lease to go up by $300 dollars! For every unit rented by the management company, they will raise your rent an extra $300. If you try to negotiate they will immediately shut you down. At first the rental seems like a great deal but I believe that's how they get people to move in then raise it to that amount.

I currently live here and can confirm the management (Leemar/Newport/Flagg Court) are completely unhinged. Please view Flagg Courts Yelp for more tenant reviews. I'm currently dealing with harassment after not renewing my lease. I've received 3 letters in a day telling me they will sue and fine me if I don't let them into my apartment for repairs that they claim are 10 year old violations. I've lived here for only 2 years.. why didn't they fix these mysterious repairs before I moved in? Last week they also sent an uncertified person to remove lead flaking paint right outside of my apartment. They didn't use the proper PPE or warn tenants. Unfortunately, dust and debris entered our apartment. This is tenant harassment and I fear for me and my families safety.
