Forest Hills Bagels

I always had the pleasure purchasing my bagels and spreads in this place and today I had the pleasure of doing floors inside the bagel store, the places is clean maintained, and I will recommend it if you’re looking for a good place to shop for your bagels.

I would definitely recommend their cream cheese spreads those were my favorite! The strawberry was a 10/10. The BEC w hash brown I ordered I would give. 7/10 bc it was a little bland but okay overall I would come back for the spreads. It wasn’t busy when we came in but the tables and chairs were still dirty

I’ve grown up going to this bagel shop and I agree that the quality has gone down over the past few years while prices have gone up. I stopped in there for a bagel with butter and this is what I was given. Seriously? You looked at that and still packed it up for a customer? What a waste of $5.

Lunch food here is not the best. I ordered a chopped cheese and got a burger patty with slice cheese that was not even melted smh. I also ordered chicken cutlet sandwich on a bagel and they completely burn the cutlet which made it very chewy and dry. On top of that, we didn’t get no utensils, napkins or even ketchup for my fries. Very disappointed to say the least…

I am a frequent visitor for years now. I usually get bagels to make at home or the go to’s. It’s as chaotic as you’d expect a bagel shop to be. In my last visit I was disgusted and disappointed with this shop. My husband, 1y/o and I went for a quick late breakfast (it was pass morning peak) anyways we spent around 48$ He ordered a pastrami &egg special.. which was overly priced eggs with barely on slice of pastrami. I am not kidding when I say the slice barely covered the surface of the bagel. It wasn’t even a thick cut. We also ordered a split pea soup for my daughter that came with toast… it was burnt, inedible. I told the man whom made our food, “I just want to let you know that it’s was absurd to have such little meat on a so called pastrami sandwich with barely a slice.” He said “meat’s expensive it is what it is.” In a dismissive and rude manner. Regardless we ate and didn’t want to ruin our breakfast any more, we ate what we could. I made sure to speak to the cashier at the counter and let her know how disappointed I was about the experience and his lack of costumer service. She apologized as she knew I was a frequent visitor and asked if she could make the sandwich for me again, or a possible refund. As I was declining. I saw the man whom made my food, running to inform the manager, whom then speed walked towards me in confrontational manner. I wasn’t interested in entertaining it, so I walked away. I’d said my piece and I was past the point of amending anything.
