Fox and Jane

I finally found my stylist and I want to shout it from the rooftops! I had been searching for the trifecta of a stylist for the last 5 yaers: accessible, affordible, and talented, and I found all 3 with Tristan at Fox and Jane. Tristan is kind, empathetic, and attentive to my hair needs. As a person with 3C curls, he will always sit down and make sure the cut I receive is exactly what I want. Fellow curly people: Tristan cuts curls DRY and he does it incredibly well. Today, I decided I wanted to go from my natural mousy blonde to an all over highlight blonde and he delivered! I'm so thrilled that I've finally found my stylist and I'm never looking back. Thank you, Tristan, for being who you are!!!!

I love my hair!! Angela did such a wonderful job! She really nailed the color! It was my first time at Fox and Jane, I was looking for a salon that specializes in color and I’m so glad I found them! Angela was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable and confident. I will definitely be coming back!

I’ve been coming to Fox and Jane for about 9 months now and I have met with so many different artists! Each time, my hair has come out healthy and beautiful! I recommend it to everyone who asks me about hair salons!!

i really hate to have to write this review, but i feel like i need to. overall im fine the long layers i was given, but i have multiple issues with how my haircut was handled. i was very clear i wanted to some weight added to my bangs, but to keep them wispy like Renee Rapp’s. she added too much hair, especially on the sides, they turned out very heavy and blocky, more like zoey deschanel. then i was given a blowout, which i hate getting for a number of reasons. usually ive been asked if i wanted a blowout, but maybe their standard is to give one. i asked for her to not make it flippy and just dry it straight, and she got kinda grumpy with me and kinda shut down for the rest of the appointment. after i was dry i asked for so more texture in the bangs and she complied although also seemed frustrated by this request. it improved the bangs, but again still much heavier and blocky than i asked for. i have come once before and is slo got rude service but wanted to give them another chance. i feel embarrassed with the hair i left with and wish i could have my old hair back.

First off I’d like to point out that this is Fox and Jane’s 2nd negative review within a week which yikes- if I had seen it I def would have thought twice about coming in. I very clearly communicated and showed pictures of the cut I wanted and the length, a simple long layer cut with long curtain bangs. The stylist started the cut with my bangs - I immediately noticed they were too short and politely asked her to please be careful with the rest of my hair. Against my better judgement I allowed her to continue - by the end not only was it overall shorter than agreed upon but the shape was terrible and uneven, which she said could only be fixed if I allowed her to cut even more. Beyond disappointed by this experience.
