Hii- I recently moved to the area and brought my Charlie with me this time and initially I was worried I wouldn’t find a sitter in time for work. But once I found Fuzzy Paws Tavern I felt comfortable leaving Charlie with them! They were so helpful and reliable. Also, VERY affordable. Anytime of the day I needed to drop char off they always welcomed him in. I will definitely utilize Fuzzy Paws service in the near future! Thanks so much!

My dog love this place (he literally knows his way to go there and drags me). The place is clean, and people working here are nice. They send me dozens of videos everyday when my dog stays with them. They have additional picking up and dropping off services which is very helpful. You can add grooming service on top of the boarding service, my dog comes back fresh and clean every time.

My dog sniffed this place out one day (the morning of the 2024 solar eclipse) and the person there offered an assortment of well-designed chew toys for only $5 each. Somehow Joey wound up with this butterfly one in her mouth … and she let me have it even though I only had $4 in cash at the time. It’s been a very fun toy for the spring! Joey sniffed her way back here (on 4/20, national Cannabis day 🤷🏽‍♂️) on another sunny Spring walk and we were intrigued to hear barking inside. She had a friendly meeting with the dogs and people there. I found out the dogs get walked 3x a day, and that pet boarding can be for up to a month. So, who knows, maybe one day we’ll use their dog-sitting services. Joey has gotten better with separation anxiety, and that could only help if she stays at a place she’s already familiar with from walk visits. 🤔 The one thing I would suggest is maybe do something with the floors? The floors are like those brand new floors in Tangram mall. Can be slippery for dogs’ paws/joints. I’m currently trying things out for this with my apartment’s wood floors. - Dog socks with grips - cotton area rugs - interlocking foam mats - idk what else

My dog had a reaction to one of the grooming products used during his wash. I had my dog groomed here on 11/20/24 and my partner and I just noticed he has bumps under his coat. There are about 5/6 bumps under his fur which is very short so it’s making his fur raised in those areas. When I look past his fur the bumps appear whitish. This is the only change in his routine that he’s been subjected to so it’s easy to narrow down. The bumps don’t seem to bother him, it’s likely that the product used to condition and/or perfume him just doesn’t agree with his sensitive skin. They did a fine job. Just be sure to ask what products their using or provide your own. Update: I appreciate the kind and professional response from the owners of FPT. I’m not placing any blame - he’s a very sensitive doggie. I have updated my stars to reflect their handling of the situation.

This place changed management sometime in April or May, and ever since then, the quality of service has declined. I used to bring my dog here a lot, and they would send me photos and videos of her playing with other dogs or with staff, and they would have enrichment activities every few days for dogs in boarding. Before they changed ownership, you could also tell the staff really loved dogs, and when Gummi and I came across them on our walks in the neighborhood, she would be so happy to see them. However, now I've noticed the place is not kept as clean, and they placed the gates in different areas so that dogs can run up to the front door, whereas they used to have multiple gates to separate dogs and keep them from being able to run to the front door for safety measures. This also means that fewer dogs can be out for social time at any given point, and so they have to spend more time in their kennels. The staff also did not follow my feeding instructions, and Gummi was not given her bedtime meal the way I asked. After I picked her up, she also had diarrhea, which never happens unless she eats something very bad. I'm really disappointed in the service. It used to be a great place that was really affordable, but I would rather spend the money to bring my dog to a safe and clean place rather than risk anything.
