Small establishment for take out. Cash only - Roujiamo w/ pineapple (spicy) ($6): 9/10, very flakey crust, and meat is flavorful. Asked for it to be spicy, but it’s not. The pineapple was yummy too

I'm so happy I finally got to try out their Chinese hamburger Roujiamo (肉夹馍) at Gao Xiao Pao in flushing. They use fresh ingredients and you get to see them make it right in front of you. I love how they stuff a lot of chicken inside the hamburger bread. I waited 30-minute for it. I love the flavor. I highly recommend trying it. I can't wait to go and try out their other dishes next time around.

This $6 chicken sandwich is a hidden gem — a Chinese spin on a gyro that’s bursting with flavor. Juicy chicken thighs are cooked with the skin on over a vertical rotisserie, keeping the meat incredibly tender. As it roasts, the skin is gradually removed, allowing the fat to baste the meat and lock in flavor without being greasy. Seasoned with cumin and a touch of heat, topped with fried onions, and tucked into a flaky, homemade pocket pastry, it’s a seriously satisfying bite. There was a steady line when we went, and after chatting with a few people, it’s clear this place has a loyal following of regulars. Super friendly staff, amazing value — and they take Apple Pay!

Excellent chicken sandwich at a small stall! The chicken is roasted on one of those vertical rotisseries, which makes it so juicy and flavorful. Spices feature cumin and a dash if spice, along with the fried onions make it an incredible treat. It’s all served on a homemade flaky pocket pastry and so yummy. A great value and friendly staff. There was a line of 4 people in front of us, and each sandwich is made to order - so be patient, it's worth the wait. Bring cash!

I came here to try their chicken burger after seeing the place listed as one of the must-try” places. The bun was crispy and fresh, and the chicken with pineapple filling offered a unique and delicious blend of flavors. The price was also quite reasonable at $6 for a satisfying meal.
