Homemade food for cheap. They take EBT for their frozen selections which includes (Buns, Shumai, dumplings). Big bun has a quail egg, Chinese sausage, pork & veggies so damned good! Buns not too sweet, filling is more than enough and flavor, fresh hot and steamy when you buy it. $2.50. Chicken congee was $4 and every bit of good! Fresh, hot, chicken tender! And finally the pastries! $1-2 per. The sponge cake was not overly sweet. The other sweet I don’t know the name of but was also good. The only downside were the Shrimp rice crepes, the crepes were too thick, too gummy, flavor wise it was good but wouldn’t recommend. Everything here is fresh and delicious I always come here for something flavorful. Never disappointed. The place is clean and the staff is very nice and they tell you what’s in everything. Excellent customer service.
Their great expression of dim sum. USD 20 for a giant pork bun, 2 egg tarts, glutinous rice ball with peanuts filling, sponge cake, beef porridge and CHEONG FAN (filled with bits of beef). What’s not to like. Great southern Chinese food.
Delicious pastries, and they take card. $4 minimum purchase required to use card
What a delicious bakery that I stumbled across on a rainy morning, I thought I had gotten off at Canal St. but thankfully I didn’t because I would’ve never discovered this amazing place. First off you have to try all their baked goods, in particular the pineapple bread, fish sandwich and custard bread, next up the steamed pork buns and big bun definitely recommend to try both. Grab yourself some frozen sticky rice with lotus leave in the fridges and finally but not least the pork soup dumplings in broth and shrimp congee for the home run. I love it! Thank you for your amazing service and fresh food.
Their rice rolls / Cheung fun (which they call “crepes” on their menu) are good! Not my fav in the city (the noodles themselves are quite thick) but they are really well-filled with meat. It’s kinda chaotic to order - you just have to insert yourself in the line. Good prices ($3.50 per rice rolls). They take card / credit and cash.
