Recommendation: 杀猪菜(must try!),锅包肉,拔丝地瓜 Advantage: North-eastern style of Chinese food with high quality price ratio. We order 8 dishes but could merely finished 1/6 of them. It costs less than 100 bucks before tax. They also granted us Yuanxiao for the traditional festival. One bite of 杀猪菜 and I feel like I am in north east of China LOL 拔丝地瓜(candied sweet photo) has the amazing candied floss. Before you eat it, you should dip the sweet photo into water. It is the first time I tried and it has the sugar coating on sweet photos like glasses. 锅包肉 is an authentic dish. They have two versions: traditional and the modern one with catch-up. We ordered the traditional one. The 春饼 is the large one, unlike what I had in Furun. Disadvantage: Personally, the food here is a bit salty for me. At the mean time, my friend is totally fine with it. If you prefer a quiet and personal space, this may not be a good choice. The tables are close to each other which I am totally fine with it. The parking is expected to be hard as it is in flushing. ;)
Everything I got here only cost less than 140. We couldn't finish it with a group of 4 people. Considering the price is cheap, the food quality is actually good. Highly recommended this place. The fish is very delicious. The fried mushroom is also very delicious with rice.
Delicious food, the waiter was very helpful and gave great recommendations. We loved the fried fish and sweet and sour pork, and the peanut butter sesame bean noodle salad
I would like to highly recommend this traditional northeast of china style restaurant to everyone who have never tried it before. The cost performance is very high if you are a pure food lover and a big appetite. The service is super nice and friendly. Everyone was so productive and you don’t need to wait for a long time to have a plate. For the food, I love every courses in this restaurant, especially the deep fried small yellow croaker and stir fried pickled cabbage with glass noodles. By the way, the free relish ia also very tasty and yummy. Sour and sweet pork in a traditional way cook is a little bit too sweet for me. If you wanna try it, I will recommend the way cooking with ketchup. In addition, if you have niver tried frozen pork skin, you must try it in this restaurant! The garlic soybean sauce is so good and the pork skin is very fresh!
Born and raised in Flushing. Best spot for northeastern cuisine. Best. Authentic. Might not be the fanciest cutest nicest cleanest healthiest place but the food is excellent. Maybe not for first time tourists but always always always for locals, especially Chinese ones.
