Before meeting Joseph, I took 10-45 min minute lessons with another driver school in College point school blvd and one to two lessons with Joy Driving School. The expression sometimes “what you may want is not exactly what you may need” is exactly what describes Joseph. He was the stern teacher, yet understanding I needed to keep me in focus and help me get the confidence I need on the road and he was a teacher who didn’t waste time during his lessons in teaching his students what needed to be taught in road test skills. He taught me all I needed when he came to observation and gave me all the tips I needed for visual points I needed, such as for parallel parking without any sort of use of camera. He was the first person to take me out on the main roads with me never being out besides the residential roads on the very first lesson itself, going with him all the way to Northern Boulevard and St. John’s on my first lesson and he kept me very calm with my anxiety with this sudden change of environment despite me freaking out. Even though I still am yet to pass my new road test, Joseph is the one who truly prepared me to be on the road and I’m forever grateful for him. He is someone who made me never feel embarrassed to ask questions repeatedly and explained concepts in a very visual and detailed way. Golden Star Driving school provides very reasonable packages and prices and he is very interactive with his accommodating with scheduling, he is very punctual to his appointments, I couldn’t recommend this school enough! I will definitely be taking lessons with him for the highway once I pass my test. And lastly, Joseph if you see this, thank you so much for all that you’ve taught me, I would’ve never been able to ever truly get in a car again if it wasn’t for you.
