Goldfish Swim School - Glen Oaks

I highly highly recommend if you consider swimming classes for kids age below 10. 1. Class schedules - so flexible for your needs for working parents. You will find a slot of regular class that works for you. 2. Coaches - absolutely great. They are skilled, trained, friendly, patient, provide consistent feedbacks communication and engagement. 2. Additional an hour practice time every week - Weekly family swimming time on Friday evening or Sunday afteroon can be an additional support for your kids practice. 3. Variety event for fun and engagement - monthly family swimming or swim force quarterly competition are lots of fun and keep your kids so motivated! 4. Nothing I found disadvangate from other similar swim school nearby - as here is cost effective, fun to keep your kids motivated, kids friendly facility and safe environment, awesome coaches, flexible schedule offers. So, my younger one started swimming without floaty and older one is moved up to swim force from glider 1 when he started! Great team!! Highly recommend!!

This place is an amazing facility they really out do them selves with their personality professionals and attitude. We have had some great teachers over the time and there are always some great familiar faces like Carolina who always says hello to my daughter every time she sees her. All and all great facility great experience

We’ve had an amazing experience at Goldfish Swim School in Glen Oaks. Both of my children (now 5 and 4) started here as complete non-swimmers, and they have excelled all the way to Glider 3—swimming independently and even doing backstroke. It’s honestly been incredible to watch their confidence and skills grow. The facility is always extremely clean, which I really appreciate. It’s also located in a shopping mall with ample parking, which is a huge plus in Queens and makes getting in and out so easy. The staff truly sets this place apart. The managers and instructors know my kids by name as soon as we walk in and are always warm, welcoming, and encouraging. You can tell they genuinely care about the kids and their progress. Because we have two children who were sometimes at different swim levels, the team always worked with me to find class times that ran at the same time. They even text you, which is so convenient and makes communication easy. Another big plus is their make-up policy—if you miss a class, you receive a make-up token that you can use whenever. The app is very user-friendly, making scheduling and tracking everything simple. A small but worth-mentioning detail: they have a snack bar with chips, candy, water, juice, and soda. My kids love grabbing something after their lesson, and everything is only $1, which is refreshing—you don’t feel like you’re being ripped off. Overall, we are really happy with our experience at Goldfish Glen Oaks and highly recommend it to any parent looking for a positive, supportive swim program for their kids. 🐠🏊‍♀️

I transferred to this location from Westbury about 2 years ago and I am so glad I did. The management and staff are really friendly. I know it's super clean too bc I see the manager testing the pool pretty frequent. My daughter was stuck in the same beginner level for 2 years going into the third year in Westbury but once I transferred to Glen Oaks, she leveled up in 1 month, she's in pro level now. My 2nd daughter was more shy and the teacher made her feel confident and fearless. I highly recommend Goldfish Glen Oaks.

I have been bringing my daughter here since they opened this location! She went through all of the levels and is now on the swim team/swim force. She has loved all of her instructors. In fact, all of the staff members at Goldfish are welcoming and friendly. There is not a big turn over and they promote from within. Her instructors were always available with feedback and next steps. Last, It is a great facility with showers, changing rooms, blow dryers, and a bathing suit dryer.
