I come here occasionally with friends and family for dim sum. They have the standard variety and decent food, waiting time is pretty quick since they implemented to ordering system. (No more carts) Would recommend for a quick bite, but not the best dim sum restaurant in the area.

My family and I are regulars at this friendly neighborhood restaurant serving truly authentic Cantonese dim sum and dishes. If you’re craving anything, the kitchen is happy to work with you! The portions are generous and prices are affordable. It gets very busy on the weekends so be prepared to wait for a table. What I love most is that they make steamed parsley rice noodles with sweet soy to order, which is one of my favorite dim sum.

I enjoy going here for family gatherings as they are able to cook a variety of southern Chinese dishes that suit a lot of peoples’ likings. The beef short ribs are a must try but make sure you let them know before hand not to give you overly fatty ones and less salt if that is your preference. Of the three times I went, one time it was extra salty and hard to swallow. Their squab is alway a hit. The fish that I recommend is barramundi or mang-cao fish. My family had split opinions on the crispy rice, some really enjoyed it but for me the crispness was teeth shattering. Lobster lo-mein was standard, nothing too surprising. They have a mochi like after dinner dessert, not sure what it’s call but you can show them the picture if you would like to try.

Serve traditional Chinese food, dishes are good to the point. Service is always fast and workers are polite and keep your tea refill regularly. Price is not bad compare to others in the area. Location is convenient and easy to find parking.

My family and I have been having occasional dinners at Good Day Restaurant for about a decade now and each time it has not disappointed - from the service to the food. Dishes are well prepared, fresh ingredients, and you'll find proper Cantonese flavor. There is wok hay and nicely season dishes found here albeit the last dinner we had there the application of MSG left us thirsty later that night yet we thoroughly enjoyed every dish we ordered - fish veggie tofu casserole, salt garlic crispy fried chicken, chicken in garlic sauce, and the pan friend noodle with black bean pork ribs was amazing. Plus the value is definitely here - four heaping main dishes stuffing 4 adults for under $100. Very pleasing to see is polite staff who checks on your table and changes dishes when needed. One of our go to restaurants for family Cantonese dinners in Brooklyn.
