Graceful Dry Cleaner & tailor

This review is a few months overdue, however I wanted to make sure I shared the wonderful experience I had with Michelle, who completely saved my wedding dress. I brought my wedding dress to Michelle 6 days away from my international wedding, after my dress had been with another seamstress in Manhattan for almost 4 months with absolutely nothing having been done by the pickup date. I live in Sunnyside and found Graceful just based on other positive reviews with wedding alterations and figured it was worth a shot. Michelle completely altered my dress (took it in, hemmed, added a train bustle, added straps perfectly using some of the lace from the dress, and added bust boning), and she did it in the extremely tight time crunch. She was also super flexible with my work schedule, and allowed me to come almost every evening leading up to the wedding after her initial work was done for fittings. We also brought my husband‘s linen wedding suit to be tailored, and it fit him amazingly. Everything was also very reasonably priced considering the work that was done and Michelle and the team were all so nice. Super highly recommend Graceful!!

Michelle was wonderful! I highly recommend her services. I got my wedding dress altered (shortened, bustled, waist) and she was super kind and helpful. She shared her suggestions and provided such seamless service.

But they not only cleaned it thoroughly, they brought it back to looking almost brand new. This dry cleaner is super reliable—I compared prices with other places, and they’re cheaper while doing a really detailed job. The owners are super friendly, and the best surprise is they also do tailoring, even for wedding dresses. Definitely a place I’ll come back to :)

I truly can’t thank them enough! They worked absolute magic on my vintage YSL leather jacket. Graceful Dry Cleaning did an incredible job, they repaired a large hole and thoughtfully restyled the area so the jacket looks completely seamless and even. They were quick and efficient, completing the repair in just a little over a week. Their pricing was also much more affordable compared to other cleaners offering this level of craftsmanship. I’m beyond appreciative of the care, skill, and attention they put into saving such a special piece. I’ll absolutely be back for future tailoring. Very sweet women, went to drop off a first communion dress to be cleaned up, but won’t go back, they wash it in Bubbles laundromat by the corner, husband won’t go back to drop off the jackets and his button-down shirts for work.
