Guk Su Jip 국수집 - 北方面家 - kalguksu ( 칼국수) & Naengmyeon (냉면) & Dolsot Bibimbap

One of the most satisfying Korean meals I’ve had recently. The budae jjigae had a rich and flavorful broth with the perfect level of spice — comforting and hearty. The stone pot bibimbap was fresh and well-balanced, especially with the crispy rice at the bottom. The seafood pancake was crispy on the outside while still soft inside, and the pork cutlet was surprisingly tender and not greasy at all. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere feels cozy and authentic. Definitely a great spot for casual dining or sharing with friends. Would absolutely come back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’m amazed by the massive portion the restaurant is offering. Unlimited the side dishes for dine in and not tip required!!! The spicy beef knife-cut noodles is a must try!!

It was so incredibly clean and the staff was so friendly and kind! Food was great and gave huge portions. Their banchan tasted fresh and the self service area was kept clean and neat. There were also signs for everything so it was easy to navigate if you were there your first time. Highly recommend, would come back!

Excellent food. Clean interior and bathroom as well! We came here because we wanted to try cold buckwheat noodles but was concerned it was only available in the summer (that's the case at other places). But to our good surprise it was available during the winter (February). We ended up getting the signature cold noodle dish, spicy seafood noodle dish, and corn noodle dish (never had noodles made of corn!). We also got side dishes of marinated grilled pork jowl and mung bean pancake. Everything was delicious, especially the cold noodle dish and mung bean pancake. While they say it's self serve, that only really applies to the banchan. They still served us our main and side dishes at our table. And they ended up cleaning our table as well. Yet they explicitly advertise they don't need tips. I ended up giving a handful of dollars just because I chose to but there is no solicitation or pressure by the staff at all. Again there are signs throughout that say "No tips!"

Hands down the best restaurant kimchi I’ve had yet — super refreshing! I ordered the signature cold noodles, which came in a generous portion that’s perfect for sharing. The broth leans on the sweeter side and includes a slice of watermelon, making it an ideal meal for a sunny day. You order and pay before sitting down, and the side dishes are self-serve. It’s a no-tip establishment, which reminded me of the service style in Japan. Overall, great food, great service — highly recommend!
