Stopped by here a little and I was surprised that it's so huge compared to the one located in VA. I prefer the small cottage in VA better, this location attracts too many tourists. However, I love it. It reminds me of the temple in Gyeonggido, South Korea. I just love the fact that there's a place for Korean Buddhists in the USA. Last time when I attended the meeting, it was held in a church because we didn't have a proper place. This place is so beautiful!!!!

It has been my dream to visit this Temple for many years. I drive past it almost every day. Last month, my dream finally came true. This Temple is indeed a very beautiful Architectural Structure on the outside, and a Warm Completely Peaceful place on the inside. I enjoyed an excellent learning experience, along with Cultural Enlightenment. My thanks and Gratitude goes out to the keeper of this Beautiful Temple, indeed a Unique Treasure in Flushing, New York.

A gem in Flushing, Queens. As with most places of worship, it is mostly silent. However, hit the intercom and someone will answer. If you are allowed in, you will have to take off your shoes. It is a universal rule for visiting Buddhist Temples so don't be surprised. Also, be respectful and speak quietly as it is a Zen Temple (and for some of the monks they are observing silence which is a Zen practice).

What a wonderful spiritual temple!. The silent and peaceful place allows anyone who visit this Buddhist temple tu connect with nature. This is a nice place right here in Queens. This is the biggest and the greatest.
