Handmade Dumplings is such a gem! I was greeted by the warmest and friendliest ladies when I walked in, which immediately made the experience feel special. I ordered the boiled pork & chive and pork & Napa cabbage dumplings, both were absolutely delicious! They came out perfectly warm, juicy, and intact, not too hot, not greasy at all, just pure comfort in every bite. You can really taste the freshness and care put into each dumpling. Cash is the best way to pay here, and it’s definitely worth it. You can pay by Zelle too. I’ll absolutely be coming back again!

Actually the best dumplings I’ve had in NYC. Northern style boiled dumplings aren’t as popular as xiao long bao. They aren’t as aesthetic as dim sum with their thick skin and un-uniformed shape. But for me whenever I want a taste of home, they hit the spot the most. I’ve been looking awhile for a good spot that has them and this place is as legit as it gets. The dumplings here remind me of the ones my parents used to make for Chinese New Year, and they taste even better. The space is small with 3 seats and several aunties hand making the dumplings next to you. The cashier is friendly and it feels like you’re in their home/kitchen as you eat. With how much good Chinese food there is in Flushing, this spot still stands out as my one of my top restaurants in the area.

One of the best handmade / homemade dumplings I have had in New York. These precious little gems are made on premise and the dough used for the skin is smooth with a touch of velvety texture. $15 for 16 boiled dumplings - every single dumpling was perfect in size, weight and skin intact. The pork cabbage meat filling was seasoned lightly (unlike more commercial places that uses more MSG). I will be back when I’m in the neighborhood. *They are a take out spot, but have several stools for you to sit, eat and watch them create these pouches of joy.

This place serves truly delicious, homemade Northern Chinese style dumplings (jiaozi). Two of us shared an order of boiled pork and chive dumplings, dining in at the two stools. There was chili oil, soy sauce, and vinegar on the table. The dumplings were moist and flavorful with lots of chives. If you are tired of soup dumplings and fried pot stickers, try these for a change. Heaven!
