I was so happy I was able to pick your clinic out from the search provided to me. From the Dr. who evaluated my x-ray & assisted my conditions, Hygienist down to the front desk staff, all of you deserves my heartfelt appreciation of sharing your advices & helpful informations. To the Hygienist who perform my teeth cleaning, I really appreciate for the time & skills you patiently spend all through out the procedure. Despite of the sensitivity of my gums & teeth you were able to feel me ease & comfortable. I feel my teeth totally clean now. I will surely comeback & finish all my remaining procedures. Big NO NO :Hit my forehead with the X-ray machine, causing me to feel dizzy for several minutes. I just left Simply Dental in Elmhurst earlier. Simply Dental in Elmhurst :4279 78th St, Elmhurst, NY 11373 I had a very bad experience at this clinic today. The technician, Amy Ma, was rushed and disorganized while preparing for my X-ray. She hit my forehead very hardly with the X-ray machine when she swung it from my left to my right, causing me to feel dizzy for several minutes. Her apology was brief, and she seemed more concerned about whether I could continue and finish my cleaning appointment than my health. When I calmly mentioned the incident to other patients as I was leaving this unsafe clinic, hoping to warn them to stay safe.Winnie at the front desk responded aggressively. She spoke loudly to me, telling me it wasn’t a big deal and even told me to stop talking and bothering other patients. Her attitude was rude and unprofessional. When I pointed out that the impact could’ve been serious for an elderly person, like my grandpa, she said, "Yep, but you’re not 80 years old," which I found shocking. and Judy the office manager who said to me that "there's nothing we can can do beside a word sorry to you", when I told her I am not feeling ok. and she didnot do anything nor ask me if need to go to hospital or do CT scan for my brain after my injury. I’ve been a patient at this clinic for years, but today’s experience left me feeling that patient safety isn’t a priority here.
