And btw thank you Nate for always helping me out your a really big help with all my medication. Everyone should definitely be using this pharmacy there amazing and they deliver straight to the door very convenient. Also leave a review and u get 10% off its that’s easy.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with this small independent pharmacy. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and always takes the time to explain medications thoroughly, something you rarely get at big chain pharmacies. The service is quick and personal, and they genuinely care about their customers' well-being. I appreciate the convenience of being able to speak directly with the pharmacist without a long wait. They call monthly before filling prescriptions to make sure you need it. Supporting local businesses like this one makes a big difference, and the level of care here is unmatched.

$10 minimum for credit card, even though copay is less. They’ll ask you to use Zelle if you don’t have cash. Did not offer pharmacist counseling. Not a friendly vibe.

I want to support a local business, especially since a few new, big pharmacies have popped up in LIC, but I’ve been a bit frustrated with Healthy Living Pharmacy. First and most importantly (to me), their staff is less than pleasant - every time I have to refill a prescription, they seem angry or annoyed about speaking to me on the phone. This is across several people working there - not only the same person each time. They could make an effort to be a bit more agreeable. Second, I’ve asked a few times to be taken off the prescription reminder list (I will call when I need the prescription), and they continue to call me. Third, their hours are really limited - they are not open on weekends, which is the most convenient time for me to go. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this spot. I will be filling my prescriptions elsewhere in the future.

I have tried to support this local business for years but this is my last straw. I was just here to order a helium balloon for my son’s birthday tomorrow. I wanted it to be there when he woke up. I came in and ordered it and I told the guy at the counter that I was running across the street to food cellar and I’d be right back. He said, and I quote “take your time.” I came back 12 minutes later to a locked door at 6:48pm, 12 min before their posted closing time. Another couple came to pick up a prescription and we’re upset as well. It’s one thing to close early but when you KNOW someone is coming back for a 5yo’s balloon and you SAY take your time? It is crazy. You all should be ashamed. I tried to include a screenshot of the currently posted hours but google does seem to allow it.
