Consistent with other locations I’ve tried. Got the cloud coconut blue with matcha cloud half sugar and no ice. The matcha cream was rich and coconut jelly bits were mild but still tasty. The location was small but still had some side seats. There were only a few people in line on a Sunday afternoon.

his is my go to HeyTea. Even when it's busy with their BOGO promotion, they still maintain a pretty consistent quality on their drinks. My favorite from HeyTea is still the Triple Supreme Matcha Latte and the Mango Grapefruit Boom. I also love how their app timing is almost accurate and even when they're extremely busy they still maintain a clean environment. Would highly recommend.

I've been wanting to try out Hey Tea and it caught by eye when I saw it just so happened to be across the street from the dim sum place we were eating at. My sister has the app, so she was able to order for pick-up. The order took 20 minutes, so we went to pick up some groceries in the area before heading to pick up the drinks. When you first walk in, you are hit with the lovely and fragrant smell of tea leaves, and freshly brewed tea. I went with one of the more popular drinks - Coconut Mango Blue. I don't normally love coconut flavor but you couldn't taste it too much here. You taste more of the mango flavor, which was refreshing. I had never had blue spirulina before and it didn't really taste like anything. Again, you just taste more of the mango. Hubby had the Green Grape Boom, which was a little melty by the time he drank it so it would have tasted much better if it was still slushy. I think next time, I would try just a plain Jasmine tea, so that I could really taste the flavor of the tea.

The drinks here are great, and I’ve been coming since they first opened. But I’ve noticed they’ve changed the way they make their matcha. I always order the Jasmine matcha, and as a HEYTEA addict who’s been to every location in NYC, I can tell when the matcha is right just by the color. It used to be darker and had a stronger matcha flavor, but lately, it’s been much lighter and tastes more like milk. I used to come here specifically for the stronger matcha, but it’s just not the same anymore. Please go back to your original formula.

DO NOT GO TO HEYTEA IF YOU ARE VEGAN!!! This is why I absolutely cannot stand chinese chain boba tea shops they have no knowledge or awareness of a dairy free drink- who drinks boba with whole milk? I ordered a triple supreme matcha only to sip and taste the nasty flavor of cow mucus. I also complained to the staff saying how dare they not mention that it has dairy, their drinks do not have modifications. No vegan matcha here. I had to get the kale tea. What a letdown!
