H&K Nail Salon

Absolutely recommend H&K Nail Salon. Extremely professional, courteous and clean. I have never come out of a nail salon as happy as I do with them. They either grasp exactly what you want or give it their own creativity. Worth it every time!

Iv been coming here for over 4 years now.Always happy with their work. Never a disappointment and always willing to fix any problem I see or feel needs work. Thank you for always making my nails look exactly how I want them and better. *** and they actually see you on your appointment*** waiting time is not that bad between getting a pedi and moving to your hands. Recommend this place always if I could give them a 10 I would. They also have a spa where they do facials and scalp treatments and so much more “H&k beauty spa” located on 41st street. My pinky was painful from filing by the machine. I told her my pinky is pain, but she kept saying me back “i have to get this done” “I need to do this”. Why? I said PAIN! It’s dangerous to keep using the filing machine on my painful area. She should take care about customers who said pain. I was really pissed off and left the salon on the way. She could use a regular file (not machine) only for my painful pinky or little use brain to consider in some other ways for my pain area. Don’t keep saying No to all, because I said PAINFUL! I thought my pinky was just sensitive today somehow. But look at the corner of my pinky on the photos! It was just over filed by machine!!!! I got a red spot on my pinky. That is why it was so painful, not as usual. Honestly I’m totally okay with some mistakes(That happens to everyone), but I am very complaining about her customer-care service. I am super upset by her attitude to me! That was really nasty experience.

Hate to say it, but I’ve been going here for a couple of years and this was just my last time. I got my nails done 6 days ago. Chrome tips. The silver chrome completely chipped off on some of my nails, so I made an appt at 2pm to get them fixed. I wasn’t seen until around 2:25pm where someone proceeded to fix only the nails that were chipped, leaving the chrome color to be completely different than the ones that were not fixed. When done, I obviously assumed that I didn’t have to pay since my nails shouldn’t have chipped in less than a week in the first place. Nonetheless they still charged me $10. I told the nail tech that if I’m going to pay she should at least fix all of the nails and not just the chipped ones. I even showed her how the new nails didn’t match the old ones. She responded no bcuz she has an appt. Well, so did I!!! So I have just left with half light silver chrome tips and half dark silver chrome tips. Time to find a new nail salon now.

I visited this nail salon because it was conveniently located near my workplace, but unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing and concerning. I only received a simple manicure, and I was unhappy because the nail polish wasn't fully covering my nails. I decided to give it a try since it was my first visit, but I will not be returning. The next day, I noticed warts developing on my fingers, which was alarming. This has been a stressful and uncomfortable experience, and I strongly believe it might be related to hygiene issues at the salon. I observed that gloves were being reused, and overall hygiene standards seemed very questionable. Additionally, I felt uncomfortable due to the loud conversations in a language I didn't understand (Chinese) between the workers, which was distracting and unprofessional. Overall, I would advise caution when considering this salon. Hygiene and professionalism should always be a priority, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet those standards. I hope they address these issues to ensure a safer environment for future clients.
