I had my TKR(Total Knee Replacement)on Tuesday February 24th. When I tell you everything was perfectly running, it was. There were lots of patients having procedures today and thought I would runnung a lot longerI was in at 830 and in recovery 10:30 or 11. Everyone on the team checked in to see how my demeanor was.. All in all if you ever need Orthopedic surgery or surgeon, HSS is top notch.

Dr. Heyer provided exceptional care throughout my son's surgical experience. From the very beginning, her compassion and genuine concern immediately put me at ease. She took the time to explain every step of the process, which began three years ago when he sustained a serious femur injury. Dr. Heyer discussed his plan for recovery with clarity and confidence, demonstrating an impressive depth of knowledge and professionalism. During surgery and recovery, we felt completely supported and reassured, knowing he was in such capable hands. Dr. Heyer’s calm presence, skill, and dedication were evident each time we met. We are deeply grateful for the outstanding care she provided. HSS Hospital is exceptional! We had such a great experience because of their outstanding medical expertise, compassionate staff, and seamless patient care. From admission to recovery, every detail reflects a commitment to excellence, comfort, and professionalism, making patients and their families feel confident, supported, and truly cared for.

I can not sing enough praises of gratitude for HSS NY and HSS BK Therapy facilities. Dr. Edwin Su is a phenomenal orthopedic surgeon who performed my total hip replacement surgery. His expertise and calm beside manner was ideal in answering all of my questions and addressing all of my concerns. I was able to go home the same day of surgery! Also, all of the attending nurses and attendants were professional and kind. My recovery continued at HSS BK Therapy facilities with DPT, William Sun. Dr. Sun’s passion for helping patients is evident in his attentiveness to patients the moment you enter the facility. His professionalism, understanding, knowledge, and ability to educate his patients is outstanding. Dr. Sun’s demeanor is very warm, relaxed, and personable. Dr. Sun not only helped me to get back on my feet, I now feel stronger than ever! I will be forever grateful to HSS, Dr. Edwin Su, and William Sun, DPT! My name is Anthony. I have cerebral palsy and use a power wheelchair. In November 2018, I was involved in a serious car accident, and unfortunately, it fractured my right hip. At the time, it was decided that a girdlestone procedure would be the best course of action to repair the fracture because I’m non-ambulatory. Unfortunately, even though that surgery was considered successful, I have endured chronic physical and emotional pain for the past 7+ years. After seeing multiple other orthopedic doctors who were hesitant to perform a conventional hip replacement due to concerns about dislocation, at my primary doctor's recommendation, we contacted HSS, hoping for answers. My family and I did some research, and then we decided to see Dr. Robert Buly and ask if he could help relieve my pain. What I like the best about Dr.Buly is that, while he is highly knowledgeable and competent, he makes it easy for people who don’t have a medical degree to understand the issue, and most importantly, how to fix it. Of all the doctors I went to, he was the only one who offered to give me a complete, specialized hip replacement. I had my hip replaced on 12/9/25. Although I still have a long way to go in terms of physical and emotional recovery, I am hopeful that with more persistence, time, and TLC, things will get better. I’m grateful to Dr. Buly and his team for helping me and restoring my quality of life to what it was before the accident. Regardless of their field of study or expertise, I believe that more doctors can and should take a lesson in simplicity, understanding, and compassion from Dr. Buly and his excellent team at HSS. BROKEN ARM PT My wife broke her arm and is being treated by Doctor at HSS. Now doing PT at the main building on east 70th st, second floor. Very poor entrance as this is an old crowded building. After entering, go left to pass security. Then to the check-in desk. PT for arm injuries is on second floor. Small waiting room is usually crowded as not enough chairs for all the patients. PT lady is very professional and prompt. PYRAMID CAFE After you check in on ground floor, there is a nice little cafe counter on the right side. I got an Americano Coffee and it was made just right. Sign says it is Starbucks coffee. They also have pastries and other things. Very busy spot for the two workers. Glad it is here.
