This is always a go to spot for authentic Chinese food. Delicious and freshly prepared food. The atmosphere is always lively and full of locals. There's a video going around spreading misinformation about this gem and id hate for a family run restaurant to struggle due to that and for others to miss out on some of the best food out there!

Authentic Cantonese and Taishan-style cuisine. You won’t find this level of traditional cooking anywhere else in the neighborhood. Food is always prepared fresh and full of flavor. Highlights include honey walnut shrimp and roast pork!

This is a NEIGHBORHOOD STAPLE!!! Great tasting traditional Chinese food for the past 25+ years! The screenshot of the “meat van” was literally from the grocery store nearby. Def give Howong a chance ❤️

Been going here for years with my family. If you want authentic Chinese food then this is the place to go. The food is always fresh and delicious. Staff is friendly and attentive. Love coming here for dinner especially with larger groups!

TLdR: most of the food was good but the famous clay pot rice didn’t get a good crust The meat items from the butcher were really good, the pot was nice and fatty without being too salty. I also liked the honey walnut shrimp. However the man attraction was the clay pot rice and they cooked it too quickly, didn’t get a good crust on the rice.
