Exceptional doctor, staff and service. I’m that person who is terrified of going to the dentist and usually go only when something hurts (horrible habit that I end up paying for with the health of my teeth). But Dr Cho and her staff are so amazing and professional, I can’t say enough great things. She explained everything in details including the prices, gave me my options and let me make a decision. I never felt like I was being pushed or judged. Also, Esther at the front desk is super professional, friendly, and helpful. And, of course, Dr. Cho’s assistants are equally wonderful and comforting. They are very accommodating and you can see that they truly care about what they do. For context, I didn’t just get checkup/cleaning, but already had a root canal done with very bad infection and the complicated procedure went excellent. I’m very happy with my results. Glad I took a chance solely based on the reviews and went to see Dr. Cho, especially with the convenience of the office being in the neighborhood where I live. Definitely not neglecting my teeth health ever again.

I had an exceptional experience with Dr. Cho and the rest of the staff at Hunters Point Dentistry. Everyone was professional and friendly. I appreciated that Dr. Cho took the time to listen to me regarding some issues I was having and provided helpful feedback. I especially liked how thorough and transparent she was regarding tests/procedures she wanted to do and how it would work with my insurance plus what costs to expect. It made the experience much less stressful. Dr. Cho and the office staff are extremely flexible and were even able to perform a dental procedure during my initial visit (that was initially just suppose to be a consultation and cleaning) so as not to trouble me with coming back another day.

Dr. Cho and Esther were absolutely wonderful. My visit was efficient, effective, and extremely pleasant. The whole staff is personable, professional, and profoundly knowledgeable in their craft. I was highly impressed and will go here for my dental care for as long as I'm in NYC.

They truly take the time to listen, explain, and understand each patient’s individual needs, which made my first visit feel personal and reassuring. I had a really positive experience here, even though my dental situation didn’t have the outcome we were hoping for. From the receptionist to the technicians and dental assistants, everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. I came in to see Dr. Kim, a root canal specialist, for a complicated issue with a tooth that had already undergone a root canal. After reviewing my X-rays, he took the time to thoroughly explain his diagnosis and recommended a retreatment. I really appreciated how upfront and honest he was from the beginning, including explaining that there was a possibility the tooth might still need to be extracted. Dr. Cho also came in to clearly break down the costs and even offered a payment plan option, which I appreciated. I never felt rushed during my visit, and multiple team members checked in to make sure I was comfortable. Unfortunately, despite attempting the retreatment, the worst-case outcome did happen. But what really stood out to me was how supportive and accommodating the team was afterward. They were genuinely caring and made sure I was emotionally okay. Dr. Kim kept me informed every step of the way, and Dr. Cho was incredibly comforting during checkout — you can tell she truly cares about her patients. All in all, it was a very good experience despite my tooth issues. I’m grateful for their honesty, compassion, and professionalism.
