Ruby and her team are really amazing. Helped me make tax residency decision and very consultative

I find the negative review very unfair. From my understanding, this business started from a tiny office with just one or two employees and the entire Liu family. They open 6 days a week; even 7 days during tax season. Not many tax firms can say the same. There is no doubt that they work very hard. Their accounting fees have always been very reasonable and they do not charge for simple consulting, so maybe that is the reason why some people might have to wait. However, I hope people can understand that reasonable pricing and free consulting means larger work volumes. There is a limit to what a small firm can do with so many clients. Furthermore, they have been in business for almost 30 years. They are fully qualified to provide the best possible tax preparation. From a tiny office, they grow into a decent office with around 10 employees. Without quality service, this could not have happened. Their experience alone is enough for me to entrust them with my individual and business tax returns. I am a very understanding person, so I certainly won't mind waiting. I also would like to personally thank Ruby for always providing a welcoming experience whenever I come in. Her memory is one of a kind and this is another reason why I will continue to use Income Tax Consultants for all my tax preparation needs.

Ruby is amazing!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you choose to use this service, your best bet is to arrive IN PERSON with ALL your tax documentation ready. You will be scheduled to come back for your filing. When you return for your filing, plan to calmly wait for them to process it. Yes, this office is very busy and yes, they have a particular style of organization, but they are human beings working at a very affordable price. Do not bring negative energy here. If you don’t like their style, go somewhere else, but do not leave a bad review here. They are the best in town.

Over the past month, I have made more than 10 calls to their office, yet the staff kept telling me to wait. A week ago, when I called again, they finally said that the tax filing would be completed that day, yet again nothing happened. Because the filing deadline is approaching and I expect further revision to be likely, I had to express my frustration via a review here. Right after that, they completed my tax filing within a day. Then Ruby told me on the phone that my review "hurt her feeling", without any mention of their long procrastination and total disregard of client needs. When she said "do you think this (review) is fair?", I responded "yes". Then she hung up on me, for probably the 5th time since I started using their service. So I had to write down everything in another review here, and let everyone decide if I am being fair with her.

AVOID!! SCAM company. Ruby assisted us with filing our 2023 taxes and did not complete it before the IRS filing deadline. When we emailed and ask for progress on filing, Ruby informed us that they filed an extension for us so we were good. We received a tax penalty from IRS late 2024 and then realized the extension was NEVER filed. We have been emailing Ruby and this scam company multiple times on the penalty notice and received no response. STAY AWAY if you don’t want to be charged $200+ to file the tax return and end up with another big bill for failure to file penalty!!
