I stumbled across this place and I absolutely love it! The interior is clean. The food is amazing, and so are the portions and prices! The chicken wings are incredibly crispy, tender, and seasoned well, with a side of ketchup for dipping. The Thinly Sliced Beef Mix Noodles are great, also pretty spicy. They’re very generous with the beef, and you get cucumber strips, cilantro, and marinated egg. But my favorite go to has to be the Tomato Beef Shank Noodle Soup. The tomato soup is perfectly sweet, tangy, and savory. The beef shank is very tender, and the noodles are perfectly cooked. There’s also a lot of extra toppings you get in it like tofu, quail eggs, kelp, wood ear mushrooms, Napa cabbage, and tofu skin, and corn. All for the unbeatable price of $12! And the best part? You walk in, grab a menu, sit down, order at the counter, pay, and they’ll bring the food out to you. It’s almost self serve so tips aren’t even mandatory! And if you pay cash, tax is exempt! So for $12, you get yourself a nice and filling bowl of noodles!
Portion is huge and totally worth it for the price! It was delicious and the service is very fast (it’s usually a 5-10 minute wait for the food to come out depending on how busy it is of course). The noodles were nice and chewy, there was a good amount of meat and veggies, and the broth was flavorful. This is a no tip establishment and cash is preferred. They also give you free lemon water. The chicken feet had a slight garlic flavor to it and it was delicious as well! There’s plenty of seating. The air conditioning is a little bit weak though.
An excellent place with excellent service, very clean and spacious. Every time a diner left, another would come in immediately. The food is literally delicious and filling, full of flavor. My favorites were the pig's ears, the tacoyaki, and the beef tripe noodle soup. I recommend it 100%.
this is a very nice spot to grab a quick dinner. their service is excellent and waited about 5 minutes for food after ordering which is very impressive. it’s an pay first then eat type of restaurant so you order at the front counter. served hot lemon water as complementary, not my fav drink choice but actually went alright with the meal. the appetizers were really nice, bold flavors, great texture. got the pig ear and the cold cut chicken. very nice. chicken was slightly spicy but not overwhelming. it’s the flavorful type of spicy. the pigs ear was the ideal amount of crunch and the sauce was vinegary. could go without it but it was a nice addition. the noodles were very tasty, al dente, and absorbed the flavor of the soup. very delicious. we got 2 beef brisket noodles and a basa fish one. the beef was tender and not dry, it was rather very juicy. the fish was seasoned, with that slight break that tells you it’s done correctly. overall had a great experience and would love to come back to eat with more people. (paid $51.00 for 3 noodles and 2 appetizers)
Not all franchise is the same. I enjoyed the Ji Bei Chuan Noodles in 86th Street (Brooklyn) and Bayside (Queens) but for this location I can't say the same. Let's talk about the pro, no tips. So it means more of self service. The noodle (Supreme Fish Maw Chicken Soup Rice Noodles) I got tasted weird. Like a some strong chicken taste couldn't tell if the chicken was not fresh or if it was not prepped properly. I don't know if I would come back anytime soon.
