Such a good shopping experience for buying the whole set appliances for my house. Save much money! Will come back again.

This store is garbage. Horrible service and unhelpful and condescending - would give them 0 stars if I could. I purchased 2 mini split ductless units from them in 2021 and they told me at the time I would receive a $250 rebates for each unit installed. 40 calls and 2 years later, they tell me that I will only receive $125 for each unit. They submitted the rebates on my behalf and said that I would receive the checks from con ed soon. Never in the last 2 years did they mention that that was a change in my rebate in the 40 calls. When I requested documentation or proof, they told me they have nothing to share with me and to go call con ed, creating a take it or leave it situation. You would expect a business to be transparent and honest about their business practices and be responsible for their customers but this business takes advantage of them. Also, the check they offered was their own personal check, not from con ed and makes you wonder how much of their customers money they have been holding onto or keeping.

Beware of this place! The price is cheaper, but the quality is absolutely bad. I purchased a GE refrigerator from them. It did not work from day one. When they delivered and installed, they refused to wait and make sure that it was working. Later I found out it’s not working, and called the store right away. The store refused to take it back and asked me to called GE for maintenance. I called GE maintenance and they go back and forth for weeks but cannot fix it. I lived without refrigerator for a couple weeks. I was so fed up and filed a consumer complaint. After the complaint was filed, GE actioned right away and replaced with a working refrigerator. J&L Home supply Inc did not try to do anything at all to resolve the issue. All they did is collected the money, and sent me a non-working refrigerator, and asked me to deal with maintenance after that. I am surprise how a store like this can survive and still open. Do yourself a favor and buy from other creditable stores like Home Depot, Lowe’s or Costco.

BUYER BEWARE*: I wish I had read the reviews beforehand. I purchased a mini split from them and had it installed within the week. Though their storefront showcased various brands of mini splits, they claimed on only having the tosot brand at the moment. The receipt states they accept check (which is misleading) but the lady said the price is only good for cash. Their prices are steep/expensive compared to other appliance stores. It was a hassle to schedule an installation appointment time. The lady answering the phone got annoyed at me for calling to inquire about the time of installation; (we had set a date, but I did not get a time when I called the night before). The service technicians did show up on time, but it took them three hours to take out my broken mini split, then reinstall the new one. They just reused my old wires and metal pipings (did not bother to replace them with the new ones). They left some cardboard and trash at my house even though I tipped them well. The mini split also started leaking water from poor installation, which I do not expect from professionals.
