I had an amazing experience! I brought in a mini dress that needed altering, even though it was at night, super last minute, and almost time for him to close, he did such a great job. The fit came out perfect, and he worked super quickly without sacrificing quality. Very professional, attentive, and clearly skilled at what he does. I'll definitely be coming back for future alterations! Highly recommend.
I found John on google last minute and he assisted me right on time. My dress tailored to perfection in two days!! He is very professional and an expert at his craft. I highly recommend and will be coming back.
Service was incredible! I needed some last minute adjustments on a jacket for my birthday and he got it done in a timely manner! On top of that the alterations were well done. I couldn’t have been happier with the service.
The best tailor in Brooklyn, he sized down my sweater and mini skirt to make sure it fits for my birthday. He does a very good job I feel way better in my clothes now and he’s made me excited to wear them. I recommend this Location for all your tailoring needs! Super fast also if you’re on a time limit! Will be coming back to fix anything else I have that I know can fit better on me . THANKS SO MUCH! He’s also a great guy!
John is among the most unprofessional, disorganized, argumentative, arrogant, and dismissive service workers I have ever encountered. I wish I had never taken my business to him and given him a red cent of my hard-earned money. He constantly argues with customers in person or on the phone, and in the end, he is in the wrong. His skill level is excellent for shortening pants but inferior for changing the fit of clothing. I needed three pairs of tapered and shortened pants in March for a trip. John did not follow the measurement he took. He felt it would be too tight, so he removed a key design element from one of my pants. I was unhappy with the fit and his decisions, so I wanted a refund, and he refused and wanted to redo it. I said Fine. Two weeks later, when I called to pick up pants, he said it was prom season and he was too busy to redo them. He told me to come in, but I was unavailable or busy when he wanted me to. July came and went, and John still did not work on the pants. I was not able to take any of the pants on vacation. I sent someone to pick up the pants and told John to keep the money, because I just wanted the pants. He refused to hand the pants over without a ticket, said he didn’t know where the pants were, and pointed to his store policy of throwing clothes away after x days. I came back from vacation and went to get my pants. He offered to fix them, and I was going to let him, but when trying them on, I realized John had had these pants for months and didn’t work on them. It also dawned on me that he purposefully locked the shop to waste my time before my trip, when I had organized with him to pick up the pants. When I came, he was not answering phone calls, and the lights were on in the shop and in the back room where he sleeps, but the doors were locked. I put two and two together because a woman in the shop said a similar situation had happened to her. They agreed to come to the shop for pickup, but the lights were on, but the shop was closed. He said he was probably sleeping and really tired and didn't hear the phone. No apology, just excuses with John.
