My go to place for a filling and delicious cheap eats. The breading on the fish is amazing and crunchy along with the amazing rice, sauces are available and the white sauce is S tier. The soup is by far the best and wish I could have a cup everyday. 5/5

Number one fried fish spot in all of Jackson Heights. I couldn't help but eat my delicious number 9 combo which contains Fish, Shrimp, Scallops, Crab Stick and your choice of rice or French Fries. I have been coming since I was a little boy and the quality has not changed. Bless this amazing place. 5 stars. I will always come back for your combo meals and your delicious fish soup. Prices are very well as $10 for this I was able to share with a friend and still be full. Run don't walk to Jose's!

great quality, great price! the soup is a MUST; hearty ingredients- celery, potato, carrot, and whiting fish. this establishment takes cash only, it’s been a community staple serving the working class for years! they have plenty of fried seafood combos to choose from; their flounder is better than their whiting fish in my opinion. you can choose a base of rice or french fries- i love the rice as it has little bits of veggies! this is best enjoyed on the spot to have the best crunch! just know that during lunch time this place gets really packed!

Jose’s will definitely fill you up. Cheap price for a gigantic portion of food. I got the fish, scallop and shrimp combo over rice for takeout. It was still crispy when I had it. It was lacking in flavor, I did add some sauce to it but I think you’ll need to drench it in sauce if you want more flavor. Great place for lunch, I’ll need to dine in next time to sauce up the seafood more.

Went there for the first time with a friend of mine. Food was good, felt they could use some salt but the condiments covered that part. We asked to change our order a little bit and offered to pay for it but they refused. Other than that, it was okay. They have a decent seating area and a restroom for their customers. I may visit again & hopefully will get better service 🤞😉
