I really enjoyed getting my gel-x nails at Kawaii salon and spa. The staffs were so amazing and welcoming as I entered the salon. Highly recommend getting gel-x along with other services. 💗

Love coming here. The lovely group of ladies that run this salon are sweet and amazing. They always make sure I’m hydrated by giving me a bottle of water the minute I sit down. They do a great job each time and take no shortcuts.

My friend and I got my nails done here for the first time and we loved the service. They did a great job with our nails and the salon was also very clean and welcoming.

I was late to the appointment so maybe they were rushing. But it was done very rushed, there were scratches and discoloration, when I called it out, the lady was like that’s ok it won’t show after top coat, and then she was like if you REALLY want, I can fix it blah blah. I didn’t say anything since I was late and she was rushed but it really shows their quality is really meh.

I’ve only been to Kawaii Salon & Spa twice — only for Japanese gel manicure and pedicure. The second time I went, I went to get the gel manicure off because my right thumb nail broke in half and was hanging on for dear life. Thankfully the nail technician fixed it, after another nail technician intervened to advise her. The nail technician I had supposedly didn’t speak good English (in her words), but she seemed to understand most of what I said (or she was pretending the whole time, I don’t know — because she was also answering the phone, in English). Basically, the nail technician I had didn’t actually look at my nails — she seemed way too exhausted and angry that I was a last minute walk in. Because she was rushing and not looking at my nails, she only fixed three out of four of my nails that needed to be repaired. Apart from her rude and rushed service, she kept pushing me to get a gel manicure. I repeatedly said that I need to give my nails a break so they can grow out, so I only came in to take the gel manicure off and fix my nails that were breaking. Ended up paying around $52 for this awful service — left with a hang nail on my left thumb and my finger bleeding because she cut my cuticles, after I said I don’t want my finger nail cuticles cut. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS!
