I stumbled across Kenny's website in late July. I was left devastated by my 8th grade SHSAT score and was looking to retake it, so I decided to work with Kenny. Kenny helped me get back on track by providing me resources specific to the 9th grade SHSAT that I didn't even know existed. Kenny helped me understand every single problem I got wrong on practice tests and helped me reach scores in the 100s (out of 114) on practice exams. I initially found Kenny Tan’s information through his astute posts in a FB group for parents with kids applying to high school in NYC. Kenny ended up helping my older kid prep for the SAT. I loved the flexibility of scheduling and the excellent communication from Kenny himself. My kid is very happy and so glad he worked with Kenny. The process requires legwork from the kid but if their goal is to raise their scores and they buy in to Kenny’s process, their score will go up.
