Found based on recommendation from another patient here, I am very happy with the care given to my little Ginger so far. Dr. Shark is like the vet version of Dr. House. Watching him work is very impressive, he's truly gifted with animals. The staff here work long hours and put everything into helping the pets that come in. I think it's a very busy location and they advertise everywhere inside that they deal with emergencies often and have prioritize appointments as needed for emergencies. So you may wait but I hope everyone understands the importance of prioritizing the emergency care. They are taking some of the toughest cases here. Also, Dr. Shark has a location in Bayside called Union Vet and they are awesome there too. It's good to have an alternative if you weren't able to get in when you need to.

Not a long wait. Everyone at the front desk knowledgeable and helpful. Vet Techs and Dr. Lara professional, listen well and are matter of fact during the examination of my cat. Advise was welcomed and appreciated so that I may maintain my cat's health and happiness. I am very thankful for all who work there.

Excellent experience from start to finish. The veterinarian and staff were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure my cat (Coco) felt comfortable throughout the visit. Walked in for an emergency visit on Sunday and once again, my little Avocado “Goliath” was treated with the best care. Although, we receive some unfortunate news, the care given to him was perfect. We have a long journey ahead but I am grateful to have this team along for the ride. Thanks

I've been coming here about 4 years, the staff and doctors here are very kind in person and doctor Lara is fantastic and very thorough, but I am frustrated with the level of incompetence and seemingly callousness when it came to management. Every time I tried to get medical records for my cat it took like 10 phone calls and texts just to get anything. I confirmed my email every time and the staff on the phone said the files were sent but It took literal days before I got anything. This is distressing when your pet is on the verge of dying and time is of the essence. When my cat was hospitalized here and clearly wasn't doing well, she was supposed to be here for 2-3 days. I called multiple times after the first 2 days just to ask for 10 minutes of a doctor's time to tell me what the prognosis was and if I could do anything else, because I was unsure what to do. Doctor never called me back and she was infirmed for 2 additional days because no one told me if I should be picking her up or not until I showed up in person and asked to be told what was going on. The messed up cherry on top is that I went to collect my cat's ashes after she passed, hoping to gain some closure, and when I got home after leaving work at 11:30 I opened the bag and it was the wrong ashes. If nothing else makes someone relive the anguish of putting their pet to sleep, that does.
