I love Dr. Kong. This Doctor is knowledgeable in what he does and I placed my trust in him when he delivered my baby. I had a super fast recovery and I will forever go to him for my future children. He is straight to the point and tells you how it is. He means GREAT. You’re there to see the child’s growth and if the baby is healthy and you go about your day!

The best OBGYN doctor you would ever have! Been with him since 2023 and I don’t think I would ever find someone like him. He helped me give birth to my second baby❤️ thanks Dr. Kong

For anyone who is pregnant, I strongly recommend avoiding this OB. If you choose to go anyway, good luck—you’ll see what I mean. The only star goes to the reception team.

If this obgyn ends up being your doc during your delivery, maybe try a different hospital. He has terrible bedside manner, outdated medical practices, and staff don't have high regard for him because of the way he treats staff. I'm a doctor myself and I have never met another provider with this much lack of empathy towards patients, no care to even listen to patients thoughts and wishes on THEIR delivery. I had the unfortunate luck to deliver with this provider as my carefully selected obgyn nor her other more reputable colleagues was not on call that night. Dr. Kong didn't even introduce himself and barged in telling me that I couldn't get xyz of birth plan. I wasn't requesting anything, merely asking what could be done, he simply authoritatively demanded that I do as he said. Never in a million years thought a patient could be treated that way... and I'm sure he does it all the time sadly. I never mentioned I myself am a provider, but should have. The entire birthing experience was terrible and its in large part because of this doctor. If anyone ever feels like their rights as a patient have been violated, just know that you can report a physician to the NYS medical board. A doctor like this should not be practicing in all honesty.

I found Dr. Kong's level of patience and bedside manner to be highly variable depending on the location. My visits at NYU Langone Hospital were pleasant, but appointments at his 8th avenue office were marked by a noticeable lack of patience and a rushed feeling. During a recent ultrasound procedure, an error occurred with the equipment that prevented us from getting the required fetal measurements. Following the operational mistake, Dr. Kong did not take responsibility for the issue but instead accused me of distracting him by asking a question, directly blaming me for the technical malfunction. This response was unacceptable and created a very distressing situation.
