It was my first time there. I got few healthy yellow shrimps. The place is very clean and organized. Sam was helping me around. He is such a polite and respectful man! Will be back soon..

Best fish store for fresh water I have been too their saltwater selection is not as good. I bought 13 fish for my aquarium and I did loose 1 unfortunately but I took a risk with that one because I wanted a particular color. They have a nice selection of fancy guppies there females are especially colorful. The cardinal tetras are very nice as well. What really stood out to me was the quality of the plants and the price way better than petco or petsmart. Not the most variety of fish but what was available was solid and price was on par with everyone else. Customer service was good the lady was nice and got us the fish and rang us up quick. Prices on supplies and food is high get that from the internet. Overall will return and happy with the fish even a week after.

A true mom and pop store, with very well maintained aquariums. Wide selections of fresh water tropical fishes, invertebrates,plants, and saltwater fishes and coral. I can see they must be selling well on the coral fracs, because there are a lot. Only weak spot is the slimmer selection of fancy goldfish, but there are still 4 or 5 tanks of goldfish. It will be my go to shop from now on.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been coming to Kissing Aquarium for years, and every visit has been a great experience. I first got into the fish tank hobby about ten years ago, starting with a freshwater setup. From the beginning, the team here guided me through everything I needed. Over time, I moved on to saltwater tanks and have built everything from 20–30 gallon tanks to 120-gallon setups, as well as nanos—all with their help. I’ve purchased all of my supplies from this store, and the quality and service keep me coming back. Sure, there are other stores out there, and I’ve looked around, but something about Kissing Aquarium always draws me back. The staff is knowledgeable, the livestock is healthy, and the advice is always spot-on. For anyone interested in aquariums—whether you’re just starting out or already deep in the hobby—I highly recommend this store!

It's nice to look through and there is a lovely cat (that is surprisingly thin, honestly). There is a pretty good selection and it's leagues better than the pet store on Northern Blvd and Main St (well, since the last time I've been) but the one by SkyView Mall (Monster Aquarium) is just nicer. A few warning signs. I have only rarely ever had ick before ... Maybe once or twice but it's been so long and it was so rare it's truly hard to remember. I'm pretty sure my fish were received with Ick and it took over and I lost the fish I bought (no over stocking issues or water issues even though a newly cycled tank). I should have noticed there was an issue as when the owner netted the fish, one literally exploded from the stomach. The owner made a joke "not that one.. heh" and I was so traumatized even though I had reservations I continued the purchases. When I went back the owener new what the problem was and sold me Ick medicine which was inefficient and over priced (by 200%) I will visit and look around and may by small items if I really need it (it's local) but fish and live items will be purchased at Monster Aquarium, one of the other good aquarium shops on Northern Blvd or if I purchase fish from Aquarium I will quarantine new fish and medicate animals on the assumption they are ill. Kissena Aquarium is less expensive (no taxes if paying by cash) and if you quarantine and treat your fish you should be okay, just be warned.
