Ko Ko Alteration

I got my jeans hemed here for the first time. The owner was kind and helpful. When I got my jeans back, they were well tailored. And I got it the next day. Fast work. All in all, it was a good experience.

Can’t get better than this. The guy is super reasonable. Amazing experience.

Went there to have 2 shirt sleeves adjusted. The super kind older korean lady did an awesome job, way better than the adjustment/dry cleaner 2 blocks away from my house. I'm so glad i took a chance with this small place tucked away in these asian buildings, def would not have noticed this place otherwise without google While she had some trouble with English, she pretty much understood what I wanted, using navy thread for the navy shirt, black thread for the black shirt. Besides, google translate exists in case anyone need complex instructions. Most stores would have just used one color and that's it. There were no loose threads at all even though she sewed with small loops. It also seemed like a one person mom and pop kind of place, so id def recommend checking it out over the usual dry cleaners

I usually do not like to give bad reviews because I am a fair person and sometimes there is a lot we cannot control, in this situation however I feel like it was necessary. I have a dress that needs to be altered and I called this place yesterday. I spoke to a lady and asked her if they were taking customers and If I could stop by to show them the gown because I do not live far and need the gown to be fixed ASAP. I asked her if I could come around 5pm so I had enough time to get back from work and she said 6 pm was better! So long story short, I get there paid for parking because flushing is over crowded and the only way to get a spot is if you pay for it in the municipal lot. I walk over to their address. When I get there, the door is locked I ring the bell and no one answers (mind you it wasn’t even 6 yet) so I call the place no answer, call again someone picked up and hung up on me! rang the bell yet again and nothing... As a customer, that is very unprofessional of this business to leave a potential customer just hanging. Mind you, it’s the next day and they didn’t even bother to contact me back (I even left a voicemail). My time was wasted and I get it sometimes things come up but if you insist on a time for the customer to come to your shop and you for whatever reason you have to close ect the least you can do is let them know! Extremely unprofessional, do yourself a favor and find another place that actually values your time!!

This is a repair shop that I've been going to for years, and at some point, when I got my clothes repaired, I roughly added money two or three times and repaired it again. For example, if you repair the length of your pants, but it doesn't fit the length I want, you have to add more money and repair it again. And the store owner is so unkind. When I asked why I had to pay more when I had the wrong gel repaired here, the store owner told me not to do it here then.
