really enjoyed this market. they had a fantastic drink and snack selection, and the fact that they had a cafe and food hot bar was also very convenient. the drinks were tasty and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Great selection and prices. Also, the plushies are dangerous. I keep buying them. Two suggestions: - certain foods could be better placed together to make shopping easier because some dishes always require the same ingredients. - add a couple of nice cups to the cafe so people can enjoy espresso or coffee in a nice cup in the store. I think the extra effort to clean the cups is worth it because the longer someone stays here, the more likely they are to buy more. I read some comments that some items are overpriced/expired/moldy. However, like every grocery store, you need to have a keen eye on what is worth it and what is not. Here are my findings: - What is cheaper or market price: soba, tofu, oreos, lays - What is more expensive: fruits and beer - My overall take: they are likely buying a lot of variety and stocking until sells out. Some items that have long shelf life sit on the shelf for too long and become expired. Fruits are priced higher because they know they have to throw it out. While this may be inconvenient, it gives me more variety and I don’t mind inspecting everything I buy.

We came here for lunch, and the buffet bento bar was really nice. It’s like $13 per bento, and customers can pick 3 dishes per box. All the foot items are authentic. We three people almost couldn’t finish 2 bento boxes since it’s really big. The only downside is that the cashiers for the supermarket don’t accept credit card for

This supermarket constantly sells spoiled food. Rotten items are common here, not an exception. Their customer service is nonexistent. When I return bad food, they don’t apologize — they just take it, rush me out of the store, and act like I’m bothering their business. One staff member even insulted me, saying I must be poor for returning spoiled food instead of just accepting the loss. Disrespectful, irresponsible, and unacceptable. Avoid this place.

Unpleasant experience and service. The products themselves were overpriced in the first place. They label a soon-to-expire (18 days) snack at a discounted price near the counter, but the staff still charged me full price. I didn’t notice until I arrived home. Luckily the receipt was with me so I had to come back again. The middle age Chinese female staff was busy counting cash, asked me to wait, but then checked out other ppl during waiting. The in and out transactions already charged me twice transaction fees. No apologies. Very bad attitude. They made mistake first and I don’t understand how they can be so rightful like they are doing me a favour.
