Had ear cleaning, head massage and cupping done! Great prices. Please keep in mind, the acupuncturist doing your service only gets to keep your tip. The base cost $25-$40 gets paid to the owner of the business. I had Paul who cleaned my ear and did my cupping. Love it!!
Best spa place ever! Price are very fair and staff was amazing! I even fall asleep while I was getting my foot massage!
Walk in appt, quick, reasonably priced, amazing service. Head spa + foot massage; equally great!
My coworker and I did the one hour head spa and one hour body massage for $98. The experience was soo amazing and relaxing. Definitely will come back!
I felt like my visit was just…ok. Like a review before, they advertise on IG that caught my interest. The price is very affordable so I purchased the 60 min head spa + 60 body work. The online booking was user friendly and not a platform that looked like a novice had created. Anyways, I was taken in promptly to a room at my 4pm appointed time, but the actual treatment didn’t start til 4:05pm. If you opt for the same combined treatment, they start you off with a scalp massage, then transfer you to another room for your scalp bath, and finally to a different room for the body massage. The person who checked customers in and out was the same person who did my scalp massage. She was great, asking if the pressure was right and she used a cute hand scalp massager and nice enough to show me when I asked about it so that I can possibly look into buying from Amazon or wherever it may be sold. I think she is the only person who spoke English because during my time with her, some (or maybe one particular one—I couldn’t tell since I was tired and kept my eyes closed) of the staff would pop in to inquire this and that, so she had to step away for a moment briefly to translate. That didn’t bother me so much as the person who did the asking/needing help then took over and started using short and brisk pulses with her hands on my scalp—talk about energy transference. As if she wanted her colleague who was servicing me to help with whatever she was needed for and return back. I couldn’t wait for this 2nd person to stop. When she finished, I made sure to see who it was, hoping she was not one to do my body massage. The scalp bath was not something I can rave about. In my view, I found it nothing more than a longer version of the washing you get at the salon before your hair cut. I will say my hair looks nice and shiny, but it’s likely because of the double cleanse they did and what one can achieve at home if they have the time. I was disappointed they didn’t do a scalp analysis like the IG post showing an “influencer” receiving the same combined treatment. I did see the analysis monitor on the vanity as my hair was dried, but maybe this part is for the stand alone 90min hair spa? I wish their booking platform would be more detailed with the options given. The person who did the entire process was thorough and efficient. Finally, my massage was what I needed as it had been a while since the last time, so much so that I can’t remember when. It was a male masseuse but I’m certain I selected a female one upon booking. I didn’t ask to change because I’ve had men do massages on me before, but it was just a preference for a female. Also in hindsight, I didn’t want the same lady who finished my scalp massage to do my body one. He worked the knots out nicely on my neck and upper back, but only did the back from neck to calves. He did not do the front. I’m not sure if this was a gender matter or because you need to book longer for a full body one, but I’ve gotten both front and back massages from head to toe for 60mins elsewhere and it was divine (RIP Origo Spa, if you’re old enough or have been long in NYC, you know). Just wished it was the same here otherwise, it just feels incomplete or unfinished. I went on a Saturday and they seem to be busy. There is no sound proofing, so you will hear lot of activity coming and going and staff discussing about room availability and how it is being used. The massage room I was in had a folding translucent divider held on a track, so I could see some blurred movement as I got dressed ready to go. I also overheard the staff not fully engaged with customers due to limited English. A few customers had to (politely) repeat what they preferred or clarify the service they would be receiving or wanting. You may come across the same, but these people are working hard and just remember to be patient and polite as well 🙂 Up for debate if this place is worthy of returning even with the $10 off voucher they were passing for the next service.
