After walking around Midtown Manhattan, I always get hungry—and this time I randomly walked into Kungfu Dumplings and found a hidden gem!
They specialize in all kinds of dumplings and classic comfort dishes, with quite a few creative flavors on the menu.
Here’s what I tried and loved 👇
🥢 Crab Roe Soup Dumplings – super juicy, one bite and it’s full of rich broth
🥟 Pan-Fried Beef & Glass Noodle Dumplings – the addition of glass noodles gives a really nice chewy, bouncy texture
🦀 Pork Dumplings with Crab Meat & Salted Egg Yolk – the salted egg yolk flavor really stands out, super rich and layered
🧀 Boiled Beef, Onion & Cheese Dumplings – surprisingly good! A fusion twist that actually works
🍍 Pineapple Fried Rice – must-order!! The chicken is super tender, the rice is perfectly separated, and there’s a light sweetness from the pineapple that makes it so addictive
🍜 Diced Chicken Noodles with Chili – noodles are chewy, chicken is very tender, and it’s not spicy
Perfect spot whether you’re grabbing a quick solo meal or sharing a few dishes with friends—super satisfying and comforting.
You can find a great variety of dumplings, xiaolongbao, wontons, and noodles here.

Pan friend and steamed dumplings were great! Recommend the fish and corn. Chicken noodles were tasteless.
Ordered steamed pork and chive dumplings on the take out kiosk for lunch. Service is very quick, food comes quick. Prices are very reasonable. I found the dumplings okay, not super succulent, flavor was fine. I may try another item to see if the other items are better.
