Dr. Lau has been my children's pediatrician since their birth. He is a wonderful Dr. who is patient and on point with treating my children's ailments. We travel distances to see him whether he is in his Mott Street location or his Brooklyn location. It can be a long wait in his office because he is a great Dr. and has a soft heart for sick kids. He will not turn you away even if it means staying later in evening or weekends or even on holidays to treat a sick child. I know I will never find any other Dr. with this commitment. Dr. Lau has always been there for myself from being a new panicky parent to now a parent of a preteen. Thank you Dr Lau for all you've done for my family. A.L. (R.L. and V. L.)

We have been with Dr Lau for years, he is professional and listens to the parents and our kid. The prices are very affordable and reasonable. Recently the office is shorted of staff which makes it can open only on Tue & Saturday. I am not sure about Sunday opening hours. I have no choice but I have to switch to other pediatrician for a back up. 😢😢😢

Brought my daughter to see Dr. Lau today @ 4:30pm for her back pain. our appointment was rescheduled from next Monday morning to today because I told the clerk my daughter has class in the morning. However we were told the doctor has left & our appointment was for next Monday. However we were seen by his assistant in training. Not sure what she’s trying to be, I know she shouldn’t be in the medical field. She was so nice & friendly in front of the doctor when we were there last time, but today she was so rude & unprofessional with us, actually snotty is the right word. She was annoyed that we were there & did not seem to believe the clerk made a mistake. She talked to us in a very condescending manner, doubting my daughter’s pain, and discounted what I was telling her about my daughter’s problems. Dr. Lau, if you are reading this & wondering why some of your patients don’t go back to you, you need to assess your assistant. She was either just putting on a fake face when you are there or she has bipolar disorder.

Dr Lau is an extremely unprofessional doctor I've ever seen. My baby doesn't feel well, we went to see him twice within 4 days without any solutions and even worse. As a mother, I'm the FIRST one to say I need to take my baby to the ER during the last visit in his clinic. He clearly doesn't know what to do and inexperienced . My baby end up was in NICU for a long time. Fortunately, she is doing great now and glad that we have a very experienced pediatric. Please think TWICE .......Totally not recommend !!!

They should to change the nurse that who draw the blood for the kids! I feel bad for them. Because my self experienced twice bad experiences. My 2 YO toddler was crying SO BAD because HE couldn’t found the vein , he kept trying until at leat 10mins! Then he said will try again later?? Again??? After that PA came and she told me not to do it if later still can’t . He try again later on and still can’t! Luckily there’s a student who’s learning there that remind me that PA said don’t do it anymore if still can’t ,then the nurse stopped, end up i have to come back next week because only 1 nurse who can draw the blood . Dr Cheuk the one who did it in less then 2 mins! Not only my 2YO toddler, my 7YO also experienced same thing , He did the same thing , could’t found the vein, and he’s so RUDE , my 7 YO never cry , but this time she crying and she got super big brushes! If this happened to my kids , it’s must be happen also to other kids 5/23/25 UPDATED for my review My kids no longer with Dr. Lau. Dr. lau always did EXPRESS check up, even when my little one supposed to do 1year bloodwork test, he never told me to do so, until 1,5 years i received letter from health department that informed me that my child overdue 6 mths for annual examination! I met PA Phei Ling once ,and i like her , she’s so nice and she know how to comfort my kids! since that time i decided to always looked for her every time my kids come to visit., because she’s very detailed. she knows my kids better than Dr. Lau. For the last 4 years, my kids only met Dr. Lau for about max 5times, the rest were with PA. since PA phei Ling no longer there anymore and the other reason also because too much CLOSED on the schedule and also not available in the morning, so i decided to change my kids PCP.
