Mr. Shafi was referred to me by a friend of mine who also happened to be studying law at that moment. He told me to just go there and have a consultation with him and then to decide whether I would hire him or not. The primary consultation with him was more of a discussion rather than a consultation. The attorney was more willing to know more of what I want from him than what he can give to me. I am a Vawa recipient. Those who know of vawa can understand how tiring the wait time is. The documentation and all the other paperwork are also crucial as a single clerical error can entire ruin the entire application and hence someone's life. Before talking to Shafi, I went to another lawyer and they gave me somewhat of an idea but then proceeded to charge an astronomical amount considering what Mr Shafi has charged. After the initial conversation, Mr Shafi walked me through the entire process. He told me what to gather in terms of documents and when and where to submit in a step-by-step process. I first met him on around March, 2021 and my vawa was filled Dec, 2021. Unlike some others, he never rushed to submit my application and instead he put emphasis on gathering proper documents. In fact, It was me who at times rushed. By the grace of Almighty ALLAH (SWT), I got my Vawa approval (No RFE) and eventually the green card approval . this is where his some of his best traits were demonstrated. 1st, He was calm and relaxed ever since I first I met him. When my application was on the verge of getting the decision, I was quite anxious of getting an RFE and how to deal with that. In that particular situation, his responses to me was to relax and cool down . He told me that he submitted information in a way so that chances of RFE being issued remained less likely and if indeed an RFE was issued , we would try to figure out on how to respond or deal with that together. Even when the crackdown started intially, he told me to relax and not to worry with pending application 2nd, its is his patience and endurance. One day, I had an appointment and I was around 15/20 late due to traffic and other reasons. So, a few individuals actually came before me since I was late. I eventually got to meet him almost after 3 hours. by that time, his law office was supposed to be closed way early. A few of the previous individuals aka prospective clients were basically asking the same questions repeatedly as their voices were heard clearly in the waiting area outside of his glass door. In reality, I became angry inherently when I talked to him. He responded to me he needs the patience of listening to the same questions albeit in different words and answer accordingly. My entire process went smoothly with him. The location of his firm is also in a location easily accessible by two major subway lines(E/F). The building is just basically in front of an entrance of that subway station and a bus stop of Q-buses. The office area is clean and quite well organized. I only have had one issue on which Mr Shafi may work on. This more of an advice rather than a negative attitude or even complain. "Shafi bhai, you need to put someone on the phone line especially during the working hours solely for booking appointments. I know you have always suggested me to text/ email you my issues and you have responded back within a day or two. But there are so many other people who also need immigration fixation can barely write or even read. Also, there are lazy guys like me ( I'm writing this review almost after two months) who are just too lazy to elaborate things in writing. Some of my acquaintance actually called your office and didn't get any response. There's a young couple who actually came to visit nyc from Maryland. They told me they tried your phone number for appointment but couldn’t get hold off anyone. It is all understandable to me that texting/emailing works as a record/journal for upcoming schedules. But the issue is not everyone thinks in that way. I sincerely hope you will work on this. I wish you every success in professional career. Warm Regards

I’m genuinely disappointed with the lack of responsiveness from your team. I attempted to reach someone multiple times over several days, yet my calls went unanswered. On one occasion, a representative did pick up, assured me they would call back, but never followed through. This kind of negligence is unacceptable, especially when clients rely on timely communication and support. If this is the level of service being provided, I cannot in good conscience recommend your organization to others. What would you expect a client to do if they were in urgent need and their assigned advisor simply chose not to respond? Such experiences raise serious concerns about reliability and professionalism. The choice is ultimately yours whether to address this issue, but continued practices like this will only damage your reputation and drive clients away.
