Approximately 6 months, I began an on-line search to find a place in Queens that could help me manage my severe neck, shoulder and lower back pain. I needed one location that could provide cupping, massage, acupuncture etc. One location, because as a full-time working professional and a mother, there really are not enough hours in the day. What a blessing that I came across the reviews for LIC. Please believe the hype! Their glowing reviews are well-earned and are well-deserved. For the last 6 months, I come in, usually after a 16-hour shift and Bo is there. Bo, who is there with a sympathetic ear. This petite, serene woman with such a big heart. She takes such pride in her work, it is almost tangible. For 80 mins, she wills away your tension, stress and pain with a combination of acupuncture with e-stim and/or cupping. Then Leon sometimes joins in with his magical hands to provide the most amazing massages. He has done cupping for me many times as well. These are simply the most easy-going, kindest dedicated group of individuals that you could ever meet, and all they want is to help you feel better. I faithfully go to Bo every week and I can’t rave enough about how much better I have felt since working with her and Leon. I really cannot thank them enough.

I came in specifically for acupuncture treatment after being diagnosed with Bell’s palsy. Being a healthcare worker myself, literature shows acupuncture can help in the recovery of bells. The receptionist Kat was informative and super nice. I scheduled an appt with Bo as not only does she have significant experience in acupuncture, but she had experience in treating Bell’s palsy. I started acupuncture 1 week after diagnosis and did 1 session per week. I could tell immediately after the first session that my symptoms were improving. Bo accommodated me late evenings, was extremely patient with me and educated me throughout the whole process…at EVERY session. Each session lasted between 1.5-2 hours. Grateful to their services and attention, I have now healed completely with their help.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE I visited the center for the first time yesterday and had an initial consultation with Seung. He recommended that I book an appointment with Bo, as she would be best suited to help with my issue. I came back today for my acupuncture session with Bo, and it was an excellent experience. She took more than 15 minutes to carefully listen to all my concerns and understand why I was coming. The acupuncture session itself lasted 40 minutes, which was amazing—it really gave me time to relax, reconnect with my body, and fully disconnect. We finished with gua sha on my back to help eliminate toxins. In total, I spent 1 hour and 30 minutes there, which is incredible. I ended up purchasing a package with multiple sessions. The staff at the front desk is also very welcoming and responsive, and the location is clean and peaceful. I recommend this place 200%! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I started going here because I had shoulder pain. I wasn’t getting adequate or knowledgeable help from doctors so I figured I would seek more help before my shoulders got so bad I would need surgery. I can’t emphasize enough how much the whole team at LIC Acupuncture helped me. Bo, Seung, and Leon helped me to get full range of motion back, strength, and the knowledge I need to understand the muscles. They were also able to help with numbness I was getting in my hands and elbow joints that seemed like it was just part of getting older but was actually a symptom of my shoulder pain. The best part is that they not only helped physically but mentally as the whole team, including Tenzing who works the front desk, are very emotionally supportive and pleasant every time I saw them. As someone who tends to take on the weight of the world, always told to just power through and never ask for help, I found other doctors to lack empathy and seriousness in helping with my condition. When I first met Bo I could feel her empathizing with me to the point where I almost wanted to comfort her and tell her I would be okay. I really needed someone to care because I was terrified and everyone in that building cares the way people should when they feel a duty to help others. I’m beyond thankful for each and every one of them!

I’ve been visiting LIC accupuncture & wellness for about a year and would recommend this place to anyone. This was my first experience with accupuncture and I was apprehensive but already feel like part of the family. The practice is clean, run timely, well maintained and all of the staff are professional and simultaneously helpful and kind. Bo who has been performing accupuncture for me is fantastic, she has a great bedside manner, is attentive and warm and is receptive to my requests. Each visit she shares her treatment plan for the visit and explains how this will support my goals and where i am in my journey. Bo was a huge supporter of my goals and her incredible work was instrumental in my fertility journey including rounds of IVF through the time I gave birth to my twins. I especially appreciated how she targeted her treatment visit by visit based on what I needed that visit. She was a ray of positivity even when I was stressed or anxious and really helped me get through the last year. Additionally, in certain sessions when i explained specific areas i was experiencing pain she did not hesitate to bring in Leon to help with targeted massage services to alleviate my pain (even if it meant my appointment went longer than planned)! I would recommend Bo and the entire LIC accupuncture & wellness to anyone and everyone. I am so glad that I have been to see Bo and the team for the last year and am excited to keep working with them.
