There aren't enough words in the dictionary for me to describe how wonderful, professional, patient, and attuned Dr. Lisa Law is. Let me break down my few years of experience as thoroughly as I possibly can. Waiting area - Incredibly clean, comfortable and spacious, allowing patients to feel safe waiting for their appointment with enough space between them that you don't feel like you're on top of one another. They have a little fan, usb outlets to charge phones, water dispenser, and candies for little kiddies that may accompany their parents (or for adults with a sweet tooth :p). It's what an ideal waiting room should look like! Receptionist - a mixture of American born Chinese receptionists that speak mandarin, English, and Cantonese (possibly more dialects but I'm unsure). They are friendly and kind, welcoming patients as best as they can. No complaints whatsoever! Ophthalmologist assistants - quick, kind, and thorough with their examinations. They are friendly and welcoming as well, for you can see them all put their best efforts in assisting Dr. Lisa Law as much as they can! Dr. Lisa Law - a very sweet, thorough, friendly, kind, warm, and professional Ophthamologist who tries her very best to provide a comprehensive examination and diagnosis to help improve your quality of life. She is often running on overdrive and because she cares so much for each of her patients, she may appear a bit anxious and talk at a quick pace, but that's only because she wants to use as much of her valuable time on you as possible! She has an aura that really helps alleviate any anxiety that her patients often come into her office with; maybe she's encapsulating the anxiety so her patients doesn't have to :p I definitely would not choose any other Ophthamologist than Dr. Lisa Law and I hope you will at least give her a chance (: I'm sure you'll love her attitude, personality, and care as much as her many patients do! Dr. Lisa Law is one of the most dedicated, compassionate, and truly outstanding doctors I’ve ever encountered. She has been our family ophthalmologist for the past eight years, and we honestly feel so lucky to be under her care. Her commitment to her patients goes far beyond what you typically expect from a doctor. She genuinely cares, always takes her time, and won’t let you leave until every question is answered. We first booked an appointment with Dr. Law for a second opinion while we were still patients at NY Presbyterian Cornell. Her professionalism, depth of knowledge, and warmth completely won us over, and we knew right away we had found someone special. We ended up switching our entire family to her practice, and it’s been one of the best healthcare decisions we’ve ever made. Dr. Law has played a major role in managing my youngest son's progressing myopia, which worsened due to remote learning during the pandemic. She recommended Ortho-K lenses and atropine drops, but when he wasn’t responding as expected, she quickly referred us to a specialist to rule out other possible causes, like glaucoma. Dr. Law is incredibly smart, thorough, and always informed by the latest medical research. She often draws diagrams to explain things clearly and shares relevant studies and updates from the field. What truly sets her apart is how genuine and approachable she is. She's kind, patient, and deeply committed to making sure her patients feel heard and supported. She often makes time to see us when her schedule is fully booked or just before leaving for vacation to ensure we're taken care of. Her office is clean, bright, modern, and welcoming, and her staff is friendly, attentive, and professional. There are charging stations and candy in the waiting area, and the bathroom is always spotless. The practice makes everything convenient by texting appointment reminders, eyeglass prescriptions, or quick follow-up questions. Dr. Law won the 2025 Castle Connolly Top Doctor award, which is based on peer nominations and a rigorous physician-led review process. She’s so busy and humble that she hasn’t even had time to hang the plaques in her office, but her care speaks for itself. We always leave her office feeling informed, cared for, and confident that we’re in the best hands. Dr. Law is a rare kind of doctor, and we’re truly grateful to have her in our lives.

Lisa law is an amazing doctor with a friendly, caring "bedside manner". She goes out of her way to help patients. I saw her for an eye exam and she preformed a minor procedure in her office that needed attending to but didn't even have to do with my eyes! If all MDs were like Dr. Law, we'd be a healthier country!

I have been to quite a few eye doctors in downtown Manhattan. But I have stuck with one for over 6 years! And that is Dr. Lisa Law. She is knowledgeable, caring and very good at what she does. I’m very happy with her. Dr. Lisa Law is the go to eye doctor if you are in need of one or if your looking To change from your current one. She runs a clean ship!! And staff is great as well

It is unfortunate I must take the time out to write this review. This review is not towards Lisa Law, she is great at her expertise and there are no complaints. There are severe complications with this front desk team that needs to be addressed on multiple occasions. Extremely unprofessional, rude, and impolite summarizes this team in three quick words. During one of my first visits to this office, I already noticed the front desk team portraying this same manner to other individuals and clients, albeit it was not directed towards me at the time. In my second visit, they claimed to have an issue with on my family insurance, and how it is not accepted, which ultimately was an error on the front desk's team end. In this situation I elected to have my mother contact the office and have it all sorted out. She has worked countless years in this field, so this raises my question if this front desk team truly knows what they are doing. In this same situation, my mother was disrespectfully yelled at by someone extremely rude in the front desk. I called back to let them know that was not okay, and never to disrespect a lady like my mother and treating her like some old lady who does not know anything. Mind you this was a prior experience. Fast forward to 2023, I called the office to let them know I missed my appointment because they somehow had my mother's phone number on my profile, despite me having to fill out their form on multiple occasions. There was a disagreement in terms of scheduling my appointment, and once again this front desk lady throws a fit, talks over me, and is EXTREMELY disrespectful. I asked for her name and she declined to provide that information. Phone call was abrupted, and declined on multiple occasions. I am the client and there is a huge issue with the attitudes with some of these individuals working at the front desk. I will not waste my time in writing this review if I do not strongly believe in my statement. It is extremely disappointing to speak to these individuals and for them to be constantly rude to clients, whether it is to my self, my mother, and other individuals.
